A resident of the Indonesian city of Medan, North Sumatra province, suffers from a 40-kilogram tumor that has grown on his face. This is reported by the Daily Mail.
34-year-old Andriadi Putra was born with a small spot on his face. As a child, his parents took him to the local doctors, but they were told not to worry. However, over time, the stain only increased in size.
When Putra was 11 years old, he was once again taken to a doctor who found that the boy was suffering from a severe form of neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that negatively affects the growth and development of cellular tissue.
The family had no money for further examinations. To help the family, Putra worked for a couple of years in the showroom of a motorcycle shop. All this time the tumor was growing. In 2018, when the weight of the tumor became unbearable, he had to quit his job. He is constantly in pain.
Now his tumor weighs about 40 kilograms and hangs down to his stomach. Putra hopes that he will be able to get surgery to remove the tumor, thanks to which he could return to normal life.
