The find was discovered in the Angkor temple in Cambodia. This temple was built about 1200 years ago, so there can be no talk of any modern instruments.

Unfortunately, the material of the rock is not known, but if you figure it out from the photo, it seems to be quite strong, so it was not easy to get it out.

This footprint strongly resembles the imprints of the wheels of cars or ancient carts on the ground. However, the trail was left in stone, and not on soft earth or sand, so this option is excluded.

Confused by the width of the cut and its processing. What tool could have been used to leave such a large cut, and even so that after its application, processed edges remain everywhere?

The most important thing is that this cut was made either in one fell swoop, or someone specially sat and processed it to give this shape. Since the variant with processing is devoid of common sense, only the first remains.

Anyway, how can a smooth surface remain after using a sharpened tool? And here you can see the arched shape of the instrument, which also raises many questions.

Of course, maybe the ancient people were much smarter than us and came up with original and now lost methods of stone processing, but why then such traces are found in single copies?

It's also stupid to blame the restorers, because there is no point in cutting a distant stone, and it's hard for me to imagine even in modern times a hand tool for such a trace.

Thus, there is a stone with a trace, but there is no explanation for its appearance.

I know that there are many educated people sitting here, so write in the comments what you think about the appearance of this trace.
