In my life, there have been many inexplicable, completely incredible cases. Sometimes I was so discouraged that I did not dare to talk about them for decades. And only after reading similar stories in your magazine, I took up the pen. I'll make a reservation right away: I don't dabble in drugs. I am not registered with a psychiatrist, I only drink on holidays. One of the most amazing things happened to me in the mid-seventies of the last century.
After graduating from the Moscow Institute, I came to work in the district city of the Voronezh region. In his free time he was very fond of fishing. In order not to limit myself in movement, I bought a motorcycle, and at the same time a rubber boat. Once with a friend, we went to one of the distant lakes. It was a long old country, about 80 meters wide, stretching from east to west. A narrow road ran along the coast, and a pine forest stood on the north side on a hill. Fishing was successful, the next Sunday I went there alone. But this time I was out of luck. While I was fixing the punctured rear wheel, it was time to go back. I drove along the lake, beyond which stretched a meadow where the peasants were mowing. They were in wide trousers, naked to the waist. None of them even looked in my direction. Jerboas frolicked about the road, the inhabitants of the night,before that I only saw them in pictures.
The next day I went fishing again to catch something. I had to return along the road already familiar to me. However, when I approached the end of the lake, there was a dead end overgrown with bushes and deciduous trees. I made my way through the thickets to a clearing, but it was already another clearing, which was crossed by a small ravine. Yesterday everything was completely different here! I immediately came back. I never went to this lake again. When I told my friends about what had happened, they looked at me as if I was crazy.
