Unexpected meeting
Her husband is a native of the village of Nadeino, Tarbagatai region, seven kilometers from Kuitun. Born and raised in a large family. His parents had 12 children. Father Joseph Semyonovich first worked as a machine operator. During the haymaking work, he had to do different work, but most often at lunchtime he "beat" the scythes of women who mowed ditches, uncomfortable places in the bushes.
I had to "beat" up to 30 braids, but he did it quickly, dexterously and skillfully. There was still time to run into the forest, which was next to the mows, to look at the lingonberries, then to send their household members for the berries. It was around 1968-1969.
“My husband Yakov was 12-13 years old at the time. A lot of boys at that time worked on the mows with“copkovoz”. After the lunch break, hay harvesting began.
Boys on horseback "podvazhil" heaps or "drags" hay to the embryo, where mature men were already operating, in order to properly lay the embryo. Most often it was laid in a "tavern", - our reader gives interesting details. At first, a little narrower, and the middle part protruded slightly above the bottom, the top was rounded. With this arrangement, the hay did not get very wet, and it rained for weeks in those years.
“The sun was somehow not very warm that day, the hay was supposed to dry only in the evening. Nearby, in the area of Small Alentuy, there was a nur farm. Aunt Lena, who worked there, had long dreamed of stocking up on lingonberries for the winter. Then my husband's father asked Yasha's son if he remembered the place where they had recently picked berries. Yasha nodded his head, to which his father said: "Take aunt Lena with you and take her to that place, there are lingonberries apparently invisible!" - Anna Fyodorovna recalls.

The berry-growers quickly gathered the lingonberries and sat down under the birches to rest and have a snack. Aunt Lena's dog was running alongside here. Suddenly, she stopped frolicking, not even eating the pieces of bread thrown to her, cowered, wagged her tail and clung to Aunt Lena.
“At this time, we heard heavy steps, and distinctly: under someone's feet brushwood crackled. And suddenly at 10 - 12 meters we saw a strange huge creature. It was more than two meters tall, its body was not very thick with hair, its arms were huge with long fingers and hung below the knees.
“I still remember his eyes: they were round, yellow, large mouth, steep forehead, nostrils raised. He stopped for a moment, looked at us. I had a cap on my head, so from the fact that my hair stood on end, I held it on my head several times, ” my husband told Anna.

- "Bigfoot" went on and on, waving his long arms to the beat of his rare steps. Aunt Lena and I were speechless. I don't remember how they jumped up, grabbed bags of lingonberries and ran to the track. The dog rushed forward with loud barking. They came, but did not come, but ran home, the races told everything at home, then to the fellow villagers, but they laughed at us, they said, they said, it was imagined. It would be okay to have one, but two could not have imagined at once!"
On the second day
Aunt Lenin's dog was nowhere to be found. On the second day, Aunt Lena's husband, Uncle Sysoy, harnessed the horse and went to look for the dog.

“I am walking one day from the store. Ivan Antonov, passing by by car, stopped to give me a lift. He is also near from Nadeino, but he lives with us in Kuytun on the next street. True, few believed her. She also said that she was not alone in the forest; our Nadinsky boy was with her, who does not remember who. Then I told him that it was my husband Yakov, he was then a boy and brought Aunt Lena to a lingonberry place,”writes Zaitseva.
At first, she also did not believe her husband, but when Ivan told that Nadeino had been discussing this story for a long time, she believed. “Aunt Lena is no longer alive, but my husband is alive and well, thank God! He remembers this place. Moreover, all these years he has dreamed of being in that place, looking in the rocks, maybe the hair at least where was left from that creature or some kind of bed. At the end of the letter, she added that when her husband started living in Kuitun, he once told the brigade of this incident. One of the men, Timofey Timofeevich Borisov, believed him. "Almas", or hun-guresu
In our area, stories about "Bigfoot" have not been considered something unusual since antiquity. In Mongolian languages, the Yeti is called hun-guresu - a man-beast. Often referred to with one word "almas". Such outstanding Buryat scientists as Bazar Baradiin, Tsyben Zhamtsarano and Byambyn Rinchen were looking for him and wrote about him. Even the famous Russian geographer-explorer of Mongolia, Andrei Simukov, joined them. He is the maternal grandfather of Oyun Sanjasurengiin, the most respected politician in Mongolia of Buryat origin today.

The caravan stopped, and everyone saw the figure of a hairy man, like a monkey, on the sandy hillock. He stood on the ridge of the sand, illuminated by the rays of the setting sun, bent over and his long arms lowered. "Almas" looked at the people for a minute, and, noticing that the caravan saw him, disappeared into the hills.
