On Sunday, February 4, 2018, a woman from Argentina, who chose to remain anonymous, was with her children on the terrace of her home in La Pradera de Sogamoso. At about 5 pm, she noticed that the sun, which was in the western part of the city, began to behave in a strange way.
She reported that her surprise grew exponentially as she watched the sun "increase in size and become like a huge ball of fire," which seemed to move in her direction. Despite the fear that gripped her, she took out her phone and took several photos of the phenomenon.
The woman said that the fireball was so close to her that it obscured the facade of a nearby building, while she felt the temperature rise.
An inexplicable event caused the woman to send her children into the house. A few minutes later, unable to resist curiosity, she again went outside to look at the sun, which by then had returned to its normal state.
When she decided to share her photos with close friends, one of them pointed to a bright spot in one of the pictures and suggested that it might have been a UFO shaped like a flying saucer. See for yourself!
