The Kingdom of Thailand is investigating the mysterious and terrible death of a traveler from Belgium. The remains of thirty-year-old Eliza Dallemange, gnawed by a monitor lizard, were found on Tau Island in the Gulf of Thailand.
Local law enforcement officers told the relatives of the deceased that the woman, they say, committed suicide, and the giant lizard, being, among other things, a scavenger, had already feasted on her corpse. The body of the unfortunate woman was so disfigured by a predator that it was only possible to identify it through a dental examination.
However, the girl's family refuses to believe in suicide. The father and mother of the tourist say that Eliza traveled the world with joy, practiced yoga and meditation, was a very optimistic and cheerful woman who would never lay hands on herself. The last time Dallemange spoke to her parents on Skype was on the Thai island of Koh Phangan near Tau. The traveler looked absolutely happy and promised that she would return home soon. However, some time after this call, she disappeared and stopped communicating, after which her remains were found in the jungle.
The suspicions of the relatives of the deceased are also confirmed by the fact that no suicide note was found near Eliza's corpse. In addition, people rarely commit suicide in nature, preferring to do it indoors.
