Lovers of antiquity are intrigued: what kind of stone slabs, similar to unidentified flying objects, were found in Nagorno-Karabakh.
A high-ranking official from Nagorno-Karabakh, Sergei Shahverdyan, posted pictures of mysterious stone slabs on his Facebook page.
“This is what our employees found in one of the regions of Artsakh. Scattered over a small area are several dozen of these carefully cut stones. Now we puzzle what it could be. Neither the purpose nor the time of production are clear,”Shahverdyan wrote.

The pictures caused a wide resonance among users of the social network, who express all kinds of assumptions about the origin and age of the plates.
One of the commentators, an archaeologist by profession Fulgur Conditum, believes that the pictures show scratches.
“In the photographs - tarapans, devices for squeezing juice from grapes. In my opinion, not all have been finished,”she wrote.
