Specialists of the Ural Scientific and Educational Center (REC) will develop a neurosmart platform that will collect data about a person, fixing his digital footprint, on the basis of which it will be possible to create a person's neuroprofile, Director of the Ural Humanitarian Institute of the Ural Federal University (UGI UrFU) Elvira told TASS Symaniuk.

“We focused on developing a neurosmart platform. It is a megaproject that allows data to be collected and offered for the development of other projects. The platform will help form a digital footprint of each person, on the basis of which it is possible to create his digital twin - a neuro-profile. Neurosmart will become a database with limited access that will collect information from open sources,”Symaniuk said.

She added that the data will come to the platform both from open sources and from individuals, from partners who will provide access. The data collected in the database will be of interest to medical and other technology companies.

The agreement on the establishment of REC with the participation of the Sverdlovsk, Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions was signed in July at the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition. It has already been joined by UrFU, the Ural State Law University, the Ural State Mining University (Yekaterinburg), the South Ural State University (Chelyabinsk) and the Kurgan State University.

REC was created in accordance with the federal project "Development of scientific and scientific-industrial cooperation" of the national project "Science", which provides for the appearance in Russia within a six-year period of 15 scientific and educational centers of the world level. Among the industrial partners, the first to join the REC were the companies Sinara Group, IRM, NPO Avtomatiki and ANO YuUPK.
