Doug Stewart photographed an unknown animal near the Santee Cooper Country Club in South Carolina. The pictures taken by the American show a hairless, dog-like beast with gray skin. And although many users of the World Wide Web believe that this is a coyote or a fox with scabies, the author of the images is convinced that the legendary Chupacabra, or at least its cub, got into the lens of his smartphone's camera.
The man says that he was calmly playing golf when the mysterious creature approached the field and began to sniff out something on the ground. Our hero was at first taken aback, but then he carefully took the phone out of his pocket and photographed the uninvited guest three times. Strangely, the animal calmly urinated on the bushes and, showing no aggression towards the person, as well as attention, quickly left. Stewart, who immediately lost interest in golf, began posting the resulting photos on the Internet.
Doug's images captured the interest of workers at the local wildlife and environment department. Experts agree with the opinion of Internet users that this is a member of the canine family, suffering from scabies. An employee of the department, Jay Butfiloski, explains that an infectious skin disease is caused by parasitic mites, and an animal in which this disease has developed so strongly will certainly die from a secondary infection, or from hunger, or from both, if it is not caught and cured.
Of course, you can catch a sick animal, this is not a mystical Chupacabra, but there are much more hunters for a mysterious monster than a sick coyote or a fox …
