After publications that a mysterious beast has been killing domestic animals in Bolshaya Aleksandrovka located near Kiev since March this year, an expedition of specialists in anomalous phenomena went to this village. Returning, the scientists told us that they did find traces of the beast and even its fur
The fact that the mysterious Chupacabra, supposedly sucking blood from domestic animals and more recently terrifying villagers in Lviv and Ternopil regions, appeared only 20 kilometers from Kiev, has been written since July 18. Immediately, a capital expedition of specialists headed by the head of the Ukrainian research center for the study of anomalous zones, Artem Bilyk, went to Bolshaya Alexandrovka.
Having interviewed almost every inhabitant of the village, scientists came to the conclusion: the mysterious beast really lives not far from the capital. Many residents of Bolshaya Alexandrovka suffered from his atrocities. Chupacabra, showing wonders of ingenuity and ingenuity, entered the cages of chickens, turkeys and rabbits and destroyed them. And, what is most interesting, she did not devour the carcasses of killed animals, but neatly put them near the destroyed cage. Recently, the animal has grown quite bold. If earlier it appeared in the village exclusively at night, then the last time the creature was seen in one of the courtyards of Bolshaya Alexandrovka at six in the morning, practically in daylight.
“Next to the tracks of the adults, we found several very small ones. Possibly traces of chupacabra cubs"
- We have already finished our research, I returned home, and then they called me, - says Artem Bilyk. - The alarmed man reported that early in the morning his wife saw a strange creature near the cage with chickens. It was already light. The beast, noticing the man, hastened to hide, effortlessly, without a run, jumping over a high wooden fence … I, leaving all my business, immediately rushed to Bolshaya Alexandrovka.
By the way, the first thing I did was measure the height of the fence, which a strange beast jumped over. Sixty meter! Having overcome the first obstacle, the creature found itself in the courtyard and, just as effortlessly, jumped over the next fence. Just amazing jumping ability!

“Just before the Chupacabra's visit, the man who called me watered the garden. Traces of this creature were clearly visible in the beds. We managed to photograph them.
Running a little ahead of myself, I want to say that this expedition was fruitful. Together with colleagues, we examined Bolshaya Aleksandrovka up and down. We interviewed many people and found out one interesting detail. There is a cattle burial ground just outside the village. Closer to the winter of last year, people began to massively slaughter cows, and throw the waste there. Apparently, this is what attracted the mysterious beast to Bolshaya Alexandrovka.
By the way, it was near the burial ground that the researchers of anomalous phenomena discovered a lot of traces that may belong to the Chupacabra. And there were both old and fairly fresh.
“The tracks were of different sizes,” says Artem Bilyk. - This indicates that the Chupacabra is not alone. Next to the adult tracks, we found several very small tracks, only four centimeters long. Perhaps these are the traces of chupacabra cubs.
My interlocutor carefully takes out a plaster cast of one of the tracks from the bag:
- Here is such a paw print of a mysterious creature we found near the cattle burial ground. Its length is 13 centimeters! Approximately like a human palm.
- Apparently, the beast should be big enough!
- We showed the cast to the hunters. They argue that if this trail belongs to any of the known animals, then most likely it is a wolf. Only very large. We measured the stride length of an unknown creature and were again amazed: one hundred and ten centimeters! For comparison: a normal human step is about eighty centimeters.
- Did you manage to learn something else about the creature?
- This creature is very smart and cunning. Local hunters went to her with a gun, set traps, but all to no avail. Apparently the Chupacabra can smell gunpowder and metal. In addition, the beast is very smart.
Artem Bilyk takes out one more material proof of the existence of a strange beast - a wooden door latch with traces of fangs on it:
- To open the door to the shed, you need to turn the latch down. But neither up nor down can any animal turn it, because on both sides it is held by nails. What is this beast doing? He just takes - and pulls out the latch along with the nails!
In order to protect the chickens from the chupacabra, the owners decided to close the poultry box with a massive sheet of plywood. I barely lifted this plywood together with my partner. But the chupacabra easily pushes it aside and strangles the chickens! This suggests that the beast has tremendous strength!
It is interesting how the chupacabra gets into the cages of rabbits and poultry. The animal not only makes a tunnel, but also bends the metal mesh, thus making a hole. Moreover, the creatures, most likely, attack pets in pairs. We concluded that one of the creatures might be a female. She doesn't jump very well. But the larger male is very jumpy.

Railway worker Lyubov Onufrieva saw a strange creature close enough to herself, probably one of the first in the village.
“I went out to meet the train and felt someone's gaze on me,” the woman said. - Although it was night, but in the light of the searchlight I saw how these two terrible creatures were heading towards Bolshaya Alexandrovka. At the same time, one of them looked directly at me. They looked like kangaroos and large dogs at the same time. Moved, wagging their backs. Interestingly, the creatures were not at all afraid of the train, as a wolf or, say, a stray dog would have done. They calmly waited until he passed, after which they looked first to the right, and then to the left, and moved on.
In addition to plaster casts and photographs of traces of the mysterious bloodsucker, Artem Bilyk brought another very important artifact to the editorial office of the FACTS newspaper - a clump of wool, which may belong to a Chupacabra.
- The beast molts, - the scientist explains. - Running away from the man, he left his fur on the cage where the rabbits are kept. It would be nice to do a genetic examination of the animal's hair. We then, at least, could know exactly what species this creature belongs to. But such expertise is expensive. My colleagues and I are engaged in the study of anomalous phenomena on a voluntary basis. Now, if someone from the experts became interested in the wool of the chupacabra … Perhaps we will have a sensational discovery.
- Residents of Bolshaya Aleksandrovka said that someone brought the carcass of a rabbit or turkey killed by a Chupacabra to Kiev for examination …
- Well no. In fact, it was not like that. I know this story. People, who lost about thirty chickens in one night, called the sanitary and epidemiological station. You never know - what if the bite of the chupacabra is poisonous? So, the SES workers arrived, looked at the chickens with their heads torn off and said: “Maybe it's… chicken flu?” They took a chicken carcass with them and left for Kiev. Research results are not yet known.
Passion for chupacabra in Bolshaya Alexandrovka does not subside. Although there has never been a recorded case of this creature attacking a person, people are afraid to stay at home alone at night. But young people, it seems, are not afraid of anything. Several high school students who met me on the way said with a laugh that, they say, let the Chupacabra be afraid of them. As we went to the disco late at night, we will continue to go!
Two years ago, in Rzhishchev, in two weeks, a half dozen yard dogs disappeared without a trace right from the chains
According to one of the versions of the members of the expedition to study anomalous phenomena, the mysterious creature may be a hybrid of a wolf and a stray dog. That is why the beast is not particularly afraid of man.
“I have seen the tracks of a wolf in the forest many times,” the hunter Artur Krasnoperov told the Faktov correspondent. “They are the size of a clenched fist and not 13 centimeters long!
- What can you say about a step of one meter ten centimeters? Is the beast tall?
“Not at all necessary. His body might just be longer.
- Will the wolf be able to jump over the fence sixty meters high without running?
- If a wolf had such obstacles in nature, he would learn to overcome them. But only with a running start. The wolf is unlikely to be able to jump from a place to such a height.
- Eyewitnesses say that when the chupacabra approaches, domestic dogs become silent and shake with fear. And how would they behave when a wolf approached?
- When a wolf approaches, dogs bark, squeal, but do not fall into the state that you describe.
It is interesting that conversations about the Chupacabra are conducted in several regions of Ukraine and each time it is attributed to different features. For example, in Volyn this creature was described as a huge hairy dog … without legs, which has the ability to disappear. Exactly the same beast was seen in the forest in the Zhytomyr region. Elsewhere, the Chupacabra is described as a kind of creature that looks like a dog and a kangaroo. Often the creature was seen standing on its hind legs.
Chupacabra feeds mainly on domestic animals. More precisely, with the blood of rabbits, chickens, pigs. However, Artem Bilyk claims that so far no one can confirm or deny this, since no one has seriously examined the carcasses of the killed animals.
Two years ago in Rzhishchev, Kiev region, dogs began to disappear. In two weeks, half a dozen watchdogs disappeared from the chains. However, no one has ever found a single carcass of the killed animal. The dogs disappeared without a trace! The mystery of their disappearance remained unsolved. Now the owners of the missing dogs are sure that they, too, were carried away by the Chupacabra.
Meanwhile, fresh information about the whereabouts of the mysterious beast appeared in the Khmelnytsky regional newspaper "Podilla". According to our colleagues, many residents of the villages of the Volochy region saw the chupacabra.
“It happened on August 7, at about the beginning of ten in the evening,” says a resident of the village of Ivanovtsy, Bogdan Belous. - I went fishing through the garden to pick up my goats. When I came out of the bushes, not far from the goats I saw something strange. At first I thought it was my friend's dog sitting on the path, but when I whistled, this creature got up on its hind legs. The beast was red, like a kangaroo. I could not see the head well, as he quickly galloped away on two hind legs. I was surprised that when I arrived, the goats did not make a single sound. They just stood huddled together.
And two days before this incident, the animal tore the metal cage of one of the villagers and drank the blood from the rabbits. The man heard what was happening there, he shouted, knocked on the doors, and it continued to drink blood! In the morning people went to that place, so there all the grass was red with blood …
