Nearly every nation has its own national monster. In Britain it is the Loch Ness Monster, in the Alps - Bigfoot, in Romania - the legendary Count Dracula. The inhabitants of Puerto Rico, a small island not far from Miami, can also be "proud" of their vampire. The ICTV film crew went there to find out the whole truth about the famous "goat vampire" Chupacabra.
This creature, looking like a bald dog with huge eyes and fangs, is a real disaster for the local farmers. In a few minutes Chupacabra can … completely drink the blood from the body of a poor lamb. Goats, cows and even dogs may be in the place of the victim.
“This is not fiction, but a real creature that lives in Latin America, including on the island of Puerto Rico,” says Konstantin Stogniy. “A lot of witnesses and victims are proof of that.
Many are inclined to believe that the "goat vampire" is the result of a completely deliberate biological experiment of the US military: a large number of military bases are located on the island's territory, and the likelihood that this is true is very high.
However, Puerto Ricans attribute other "pranks" to the military. For example, a great desire to close the equally huge radio telescope at Arecibo. From this object, scientists sent a radio message into outer space towards alien worlds. And the astronomers got the answer …
