This incident took place in the small town of Enumklau, Washington. When Amber Dawn first moved into her new home, everything seemed perfect, but after a few weeks she realized that something was wrong here.
Her first clue came when she lay in her bed on the first night after the move and heard the sound of footsteps coming from somewhere above. Not considering it, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
However, over the next few months, a series of strange incidents began to plague her.
She attributed some foodstuffs that had disappeared from the kitchen cabinets without a trace to her brother, allowing him to enter the house and use things. Amber worked three jobs and was away from home for a long time, so my brother had many opportunities to do so.
One night, she received a call from her work and was told that her apartment was flooded. Upon arriving home, she found that her puppy, for whom she feared, had drowned in a shell.
Apparently, someone put the dog there deliberately - it could not get into the sink on its own.
It all became clear a few weeks later, when she, sitting in the bath, looked up at the ceiling and realized that the attic hatch, which is usually closed, was wide open. It was at this moment that she realized that someone had been living in the attic all this time.
