Yasen Park is located southeast of Xi'an. Its main feature is the pyramids, of which there are more than two dozen. Their tops, unlike the Egyptian pyramids, have a truncated shape. The pyramids themselves have traces of damage that scientists associate with human activities. At the same time, it is believed that the main purpose of these pyramids is the burial of emperors and their entourage.

Among the group of pyramids in Yasen-Park, one stands out, to which, perhaps, the maximum attention of researchers is riveted. It is believed that this pyramid is the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang-di. This is the same emperor who, according to legend, left behind the Terracotta Army. From Xi'an, the pyramid is located at a distance of 60 km, and historians date the beginning of its construction to 221 BC. In their opinion, about 700,000 workers were involved in its construction, which ultimately made it possible to build an amazing "tomb of the emperor".

The splendor of this building is truly impressive. An artificial sky was created on the ceiling of the spacious room, through which, thanks to complex mechanics, the moon and stars moved. In this case, the day gave way to night! The floor of the room reproduced the five sacred mountains and all the lands of China. This is how the tomb of the emperor was described by the poet and historian Sima Qian, who lived a century after the death of Qin Shi Huang-di.

The pyramid itself initially reached impressive dimensions: at the base it reached 350 meters, and its height was 115 meters. The current height of the pyramid is much less - only 60 meters. The rest is today under millennia-old layers of soil. Excavations around the pyramid have been carried out for four decades, but no evidence has been found that it is here that the emperor's pyramid is located. At the same time, excavations in the pyramid itself are prohibited. It should be noted that nothing was found in any of the pyramids mentioned that would indicate burials. Obviously, the pyramids were not intended for this, but so far the official version remains the same.

A discovery made in 2007 brought intrigue to the research data. With the help of sensor equipment, the space at the bottom of the pyramid was scanned. As a result, scientists stumbled upon an underground inner pyramid, the height of which was 30 meters, and the number of steps corresponded to nine. This discovery raised a number of new questions, but it was not possible to find out where the emperor's tomb really is.
