In Peru, near the city of Ica, there is an impressive collection of unusual stones. These stones are river boulders, the size and weight of which differ significantly. Some are only about 20 grams in weight and only a few centimeters long. The weight of others reaches half a ton, and the dimensions are up to one meter in length. These stones are remarkable for their impressive age and the drawings depicted on them.
Many scientists are inclined to think that these stones are a kind of library, with the help of which the ancient people tried to transfer the accumulated knowledge to their ancestors. Others, on the other hand, are convinced that the stones are fake, and absolutely do not treat them as an archaeological site.
In total, at the moment, it was possible to find from 11 to 15 thousand Ica stones. They were found in different places, now many are not only in various museums, but also in private collections. Therefore, the real number of boulders found may well be close to 50 thousand.
The drawings, which are the main attraction of these stones, were made using a technology unknown to scientists. First, black Peruvian stones are fragments of volcanic rock. Therefore, cutting something on them is already a very difficult task. But the pictures on the Ica stone are made so skillfully, the lines are so thin, and the surface is so perfectly smoothly polished that it is difficult to imagine the tools of the ancient people with which they created such a kind of library.
The second mystery of the stones is the drawings themselves. The most common pictures are dinosaur dragons. At the same time, some of them are tamed by people, also painted on stones, and some are hunted. Also a frequent image is the image of a flying animal or bird, which is skillfully controlled by a person.
Medical motives are another common picture. Namely - the plots of operations to change the heart from a young person to an elderly person. It is interesting that all stages of the operations are depicted quite colorfully. There are pictures with diagrams of the structure of human organs and organ systems.

The third most common picture is the image of an ancient scientist-astronomer who looks into space through a telescope. There are also images of the starry sky, constellations and even geographical maps of other planets. By the way, according to some legends, it was to these constellations that ancient people flew away in an attempt to escape from the cataclysms approaching the planet.
In general, it is difficult to call those ancient creatures who left these drawings, people in our understanding of the word. Firstly, the structure of their body, head, arms and legs is very different from the modern inhabitant of the Earth. Their arms, legs and head had different proportions in relation to the body. Secondly, their knowledge and skills suggest a fairly high level of their civilization. Thirdly, judging by the drawings, these people lived during the time of the dinosaurs, which does not really fit into the usual picture of the creation of life on planet Earth.
Scientists have done several analyzes of the found Peruvian stones. They managed to establish a more or less exact age of their finds. It turned out that the Ica stones are at least 50,000 years old. Although some researchers are sure that the depicted drawings on the stones demonstrate how our planet looked 17 million years ago.
