A terrible manifestation of a poltergeist

A poltergeist is something that can be invisibly present in the life of absolutely any person. But unlike the ghosts of people who can simply follow the lives of others, the poltergeist intervenes in the lives of people rapidly, terrifying them.

However, for all its rudeness, a poltergeist rarely brings the matter to bloodletting. This is probably not encouraged even among themselves. At least most of the researchers of this phenomenon claim that damage to the human body is quite rare in the case of poltergeist. And why such extremes if the victim is already scared to death! Here are some numbers characterizing the rudeness and bad manners of a poltergeist: in 77 cases (15%) out of 500 he pinched, beat and scratched, in 12 (2%) he “crushed” people in bed, in 2 cases he cut off pieces of hair, in 33 (7%) - threw, threw a person or even carried him through the air.

A person experiences these and other influences of a noisy spirit on his own skin.

• One of the first cases that was recorded in the history of rough treatment of a poltergeist with a person occurs between 1260 and 1288. The bearer and victim of the noisy spirit was Blessed Christina (1242-1312) from Stommeln, France. Stones flew into her with force, next to her, everything that could move moved, the blanket flew off her, she herself was dragged somewhere. She constantly complained that someone was biting, hitting and scratching her, while bite marks and scratches appeared right in front of the witnesses.

Eyewitnesses sometimes also had to experience beating. The blessed woman's clothes and shoes were cut into shreds, her room, clothes, as well as visitors, were sometimes thrown with excrement. Christina was overcome by ghosts, sometimes her body seemed to be thrown by someone over considerable distances. All these terrible phenomena ended with the onset of menopause.

• 1761 - 1762 - in Bristol, in the house of Richard Jail, an invisible force subtly vexed his daughters Molly and Dobby. At first, she announced herself as a strange scratching on the girls' beds. Soon, the scratching turned into a knock. The father began to follow his daughters, hoping to catch them on mischief, but once before his eyes the lid of the chest shut itself shut. Following this, the girls' dresses fell out of the chest onto the floor. The father decided to separate the children and took Molly to another room. Before he had time to put his daughter to bed, she screamed: something invisible pinched her leg.

And then various effects on the body and skin of the sisters began to occur. Something happened in the presence of eyewitnesses, for example, bite marks and wounds appeared on the skin, from which the girls suffered all the time. Here is how one of the witnesses tells about some episodes:

Promotional video:

“There was a deafening sound in front of the table, and I saw a chair that was moving with Molly sitting in it, and so fast that when she stopped abruptly she was almost thrown to the floor. Dobby immediately began to scream loudly: she saw the hand squeezing Molly's throat (girls often saw ghostly hands), and I saw that something invisible was squeezing Molly's neck in this place, her skin turned white, as if after strong pressure with my fingers, although I never saw anyone. Four days later, when there were 7 of us in that room, Molly began to complain that she had just been bitten on the hand, and Dobby started shouting about the same thing. We witnessed how this evening their hands were bitten by something invisible about 20 times.

In the beds, the children lay on their backs with their hands on top of the blankets. They could not bite their own hands, because during all this time we constantly watched them. After examining the bites, we found traces of 18 or 20 teeth in them. The surface of the wounds was covered with saliva, the outlines of which clearly showed the touch of someone's mouth to the skin of the sisters' hands. The skin at the bite sites was very wet and smelled disgusting. Sometimes you could see how saliva fell on Molly by itself, as if from the ceiling.

Soon, pinpoint bleeding wounds on the skin of children joined the invisibility bites. Molly was once inflicted such wounds about 40 times! The poltergeist continued to beat, bite, injure - and spit on children. 1761, February - two months after the outbreak began, the manifestations of the poltergeist intensified and became truly frantic: the girls were literally thrown out of their beds by something, even when those present tried to restrain them by force. Some of the eyewitnesses even felt the touch of invisible hands trying to grab them, or saw the marks of these hands appearing on the girls' bodies in front of the amazed witnesses.

• 1972 - A young couple from California and their baby were attacked by a poltergeist. Immediately after his birth, the house was filled with invisible voices and creepy ghosts, the doors closed and opened by themselves. Despite various tricks, the head of the family was never able to catch the vagrant who, he believed, could do all this. The further, the worse: spontaneous combustion began to occur throughout the house, an invisible fist beat the guests and even threw them on the floor, things were found elsewhere, then they completely disappeared, appearing later. Disappearances and reappearance of small objects, often in the presence of researchers, was a hallmark of this case. Especially the infant got it: his crib caught fire more than once, and once his genitals were tied with a necklace with a cross, two hours earlier, missing from his father's neck.

Then various objects began to fly at people. Chicken eggs were especially preferred - their throws even left bruises. The attack took on a deadly nature: a blanket was wrapped around the newborn's head, the pillow pressed so hard against his mother's face that only her husband's intervention saved her from suffocation. Throwing objects have been replaced with invisible fists. The woman somehow even lost consciousness after one particularly strong blow. The intensity of the attacks grew.

Living like that became unthinkable, and in August 1972 the family moved to a motel for a while. But it didn't get any easier there either. The attacks continued with increasing force. But by this time, the family finally realized that they could not do without help. Priests, mediums, occultists, exorcists were invited, but nothing helped. And only after the intervention of the Greek Catholic priest, who performed 14 rituals of driving out demons, the family regained peace.

• One of the poltergeist cases began on March 10, 1962 at the home of an American family in Indiana. The object of the attack by the poltergeist was two adult women - a mother and daughter. It all began on grandfather's birthday, about which they had not heard anything for 20 years: just on that day all sorts of small things and objects began to fly around the house. Almost immediately both women screamed shrilly: something pricked and stung their hands!

This lasted until March 18, when 14 attacks were committed on both women, each of which was associated with pinpoint punctures in the skin that looked like a needle prick mark. The number of injections was different in each case. In some cases, skin punctures were single, in others they occurred in groups of five or more at the same time. Some of the timing punctures were related to the movement of objects and sounds. Sounds were often heard near the unfortunate women, frightening them. They have already learned: after the sounds, extremely painful, as if stinging injections will begin, from which sometimes blood appears.

• The case of Phelps (Stratford, Connecticut) 1850-1851 can serve as an example of violent forms of poltergeist manifestations. The carrier of the phenomenon and its main victim was 12-year-old Harry, Phelps's adopted son. Stones were constantly falling on him, something invisible threw him into the air and hit his head against the ceiling. Once the child was thrown into a cistern with water, the next time - hung on a tree, then the clothes that were on him began to tear to pieces.

• 1980, November - Carla, a young Spanish woman, a housewife, began to be subjected to violent, invisible attacks: she began to receive strong blows in the stomach, then deep cuts in the form of a mesh began to appear on her shoulders and hips. In December, a group of German parapsychologists arrived, and they saw with their own eyes the appearance of wounds on the body of the unfortunate woman. During the research, the devices broke down all the time, the photographic film was exposed, there were sharp temperature changes.

As you can see, the poltergeist usually rudely annoys women. Sometimes the invisible ones strive to fulfill at the same time some purely male functions. This case was reported in the English newspaper "Sunday Telegraph":

• “A middle-aged lady who lived in Blackpool often attended spiritualism sessions, where they practiced table-turning and summoned spirits. One evening, after a shower, she went to bed and suddenly felt an invisible untie a towel on her head, stroking her hair, pulling off the blanket. Numb with horror, the woman could not move. But when the light touches, like scratching with nails, reached her belly, the woman rushed to the kitchen with a cry and sat there naked for half the night. A week later, the invisible man again visited the admirer of spiritualism. Sensitive shocks woke up the lady half-dead with fear, something invisible made him lie on his stomach and endure stroking on the back, buttocks, and legs. She was again forced to hide in the kitchen, so as not to be raped by someone who does not understand.

She asked for help from both priests and specialists in anomalous phenomena, but no one was able to help her. Some explained that in the seances in which she took part, the spirit of some voluptuous might have been summoned, and then forgotten or could not be sent back. So he began to attack the appetizing widow. The lady flew to Canada with fright."

• Svetlana had no time for jokes when a poltergeist visited her house. At first there were noises and tapping. Over time, this began to be repeated more and more often. Once Svetlana was sitting with the children on the sofa and then the sofa began to move by itself. It was so terrible that words cannot convey - the family was in a state of horror from the tricks of the poltergeist. Knives were thrown at people, dishes were beating, equipment was turned on and off. The impression was that the house began to live some kind of life of its own and, at the same time, the invisible inhabitants did not want to see living people within the walls of the house.

The girl tried to speak with this invisible entity. To do this, she began to communicate with the poltergeist using Morse code. After that, strange messages and inscriptions began to appear on paper, on the walls, on everything that was possible. Researchers have read these inscriptions, but they are often illogical. The Invisible Man introduces himself as a friend and writes that he wants to make friends. But this friendship is terrifying not only for people.

For example, Svetlana had a cat in her house for several years, but after the beginning of the poltergeist manifestation, the cat began to scratch, she did not want to go into the house. As a result, the cat did not go home and stayed on the street. With a poltergeist, the fire begins to behave very unusually. Fire is capable of burning clothes on a person, but does not touch the skin of a person at all, thus leaving no injury. This is a very strange fire.

It all ended with Svetlana's apartment being burnt down.
