For quite a long time I have been interested in various secrets of ancient civilizations, and among them there are ancient cities and temples in which knowledge of the greatest importance can be hidden, but not accessible to modern society. 6 temples from seven ancient city of Mahabalipuram went under water and only one remained. The version about the flooding of the temples is not confirmed and evidence of this has not been found yet.
The layout of the city is amazing. The first rays of the sun illuminate the statue of Shiva, the deity, in whose honor the ancient builders built the city. Since ancient times, there has been a myth about the flooding of the remaining 6 temples by Indra, the god of rain and thunderstorms, who envied the splendor of the city in honor of Shiva. About 15 years ago, a study was made of the seabed near the city of Mahabalipuram and the remains of ancient structures were discovered at depth, which may belong to the remaining temples. This does not happen often when myths are practically confirmed by scientists who find evidence for them.
