On March 16, an unusual visitor came to the editorial office of Svezhaya Gazeta. For two hours he set out the chronology of the amazing event.
On March 4, at about 21:30, Anatoly Kuptsov, a resident of the Shimorskoye village (name changed at the request of a participant in the story), went out into the yard and went to the barn, where he kept sheep, goats and other animals. He fed the animals an hour ago. But he remembered that he had forgotten his mobile phone in the barn and decided to return for it. He put on his sweatshirt and, as he was in pajamas and galoshes on his bare feet, he jumped out into the yard.
I decided not to turn on the light in the barn so as not to disturb the animals. I took a hunting flashlight with me. I didn’t go into the barn right away, I thought to smoke in the yard. In the silence, strange sounds came from the barn. It was as if someone was quietly laughing and chomping. Anatoly felt a little uncomfortable. He grabbed a shovel at the gate and quietly opened the door. Something instantly knocked him off his feet. At the moment of the fall, he reflexively hit the slippery creature with a shovel.
The creature turned for a moment, a vile muzzle covered with sparse red hair, it seemed to have human features. Narrow eyes, thin lips extended into a tube, pressed, broken ears. The body is like a large dog, only without hair.
Horror made Anatoly's body wadded. He wanted to scream, but he could only croak. Not remembering himself, he ran home like a scalded one, for some reason grabbed a ski pole and ran out into the yard again. It was already quiet in the yard. He closed the door to the shed, walked to a rare fence, stood for 10 minutes and went home. The wife was busy in the kitchen, the children were watching TV, in general, no one noticed anything. I decided to pick up the phone from the barn in the morning, out of harm's way. At home he drank a glass of strong alcohol and went to bed without explanation. Although I couldn't sleep. Anatoly said nothing to his wife that evening. He didn’t say the next, but for a different reason.
In the morning Anatoly immediately jumped out into the yard. The thought was spinning in my head that the evening meeting had dreamed him. But, getting closer to the barn, he noticed a strange object and drops of blood on the trampled snow. The subject is poorly said. It was a stump of a tail. The shovel has done its job. Thick, red, crooked tail without hair. Inside Anatoly went cold. He went into the barn, took the phone that had been discharged during the night in the cold, for which he flopped in the evening. I examined the cattle - everything seemed to be in order. I took a plastic bag, put my tail there and left it in the yard in the cold. For several days Anatoly did not come to the package.
After reading about similar cases on the Internet, Anatoly came to the conclusion that on March 4, a chupacabra climbed into his farm.
Anatoly decided to keep the tail for science and so - just in case. The tail was wrapped in a tight bag and sent secretly from his wife to deep freeze, in the bowels of the refrigerator, until the situation was clarified. Once again I examined the animals in the barn. Vera's goat (there are three goats on the farm, black, white and red) had no hair on its neck. Apparently, Anatoly broke the plans of the chupacabra with a sudden appearance and miraculously did not come to bloodshed. The vile evil spirits left the courtyard, discarding their tail.

Anatoly noticed that there were several drops of blood from the tail. This fact prompted an eyewitness to think that he had hit an unusual mammal. Some species of reptiles discard their tails when in danger. The nature of the chupacabra has not yet been studied. Perhaps this is a warm-blooded reptile.
Anatoly never told his wife or children about the incident, so as not to sow panic. Now the owner is building a fence around the site in an emergency. The tail is still in deep freeze.
