The pyramids are mainly associated in the minds of most of us with Ancient Egypt, at worst - with the Mayan civilization. But these structures are found all over the world. The discovery of the whole valley of the pyramids in the south-east of Europe became a real scientific sensation.
Mountain with a "secret"
Until recently, no one could have imagined that such a find would be found near a small Bosnian town with the characteristic name of Visoko. In 2005, a researcher and enthusiast, doctor of sociology and professor of archeology Semir Osmanagich saw strange objects in pictures taken from space. After carefully studying the photographs, he decided to get ready for the journey and check his guesses on the spot.
Mount Visočica on closer inspection turned out to be a pyramid
He was not disappointed to see Mount Visočica, which, upon closer inspection, turned out to be a pyramid. There were reports in the media about the discovery of the Bosnian pyramid, because at first it could not have occurred to anyone that it was not alone. But soon two more were found nearby, which were named "Dragon's pyramid" and "Month's pyramid". Then the first Bosnian pyramid was decided to be renamed the "Pyramid of the Sun", by analogy with the famous Mexican city of Teotihuacan, where the much more famous and visited pyramids of the Sun, Moon and Feathered Serpent are located.
To find such grandiose structures in such an archaeological "wilderness" was a miracle. Moreover, there were as many as three of them, as in Giza. But the most surprising thing was the process of excavation itself. These structures turned out to be so ancient that they have already managed to overgrow with age-old forests. Were the pyramids specially covered with earth and planted with trees, like Scandinavian houses, the roofs of which are specially planted with grass, or even bushes? Or did the forest grow due to the peculiarities of the local climate? So far, scientists have not come to an unambiguous conclusion on this matter.

Of particular interest among archaeologists were the numerous intertwining passages. They were discovered as soon as they tried to penetrate the depths of the first of the found pyramids. The interconnected tunnels were certainly artificial and had a specific function. Most likely, they could be used to get from one place to another without going to the surface - for example, when moving outside was unsafe.
It was only thanks to the study of the tunnels in the first three pyramids that the rest were found. Just like their predecessors, they were hidden from view underground. Archaeologists have come to the conclusion that for 30-40 thousand years there was a whole valley of pyramids, which formed an isosceles triangle with a side length of 2200 meters.
During excavations, the researchers found that the air in the tunnels under the "pyramid of the sun" is different from usual. The test showed that it really has an unusual composition and is highly saturated with negatively charged oxygen particles. Moreover, their number varies depending on the location of the tunnel. So, at the inlet, the concentration of such particles is almost one thousand per cubic centimeter of air. And in the depths of the caves, this figure exceeds 50 thousand per cubic centimeter!
So far, a complex of five pyramids has been discovered, but perhaps more finds await scientists. It is interesting that the "pyramid of the Sun" is even larger than the famous pyramid of Cheops. Considering that many researchers consider pyramids to be sources of energy, one can only guess how powerful the largest Bosnian pyramid is!
Underground civilization
Semir Osmanagich drew attention to the fact that the pyramids in Egypt, Mexico, China are identical in terms of the construction scheme. Russian scientists are also interested in the Bosnian pyramids. Thus, academician and specialist in geodetic research Oleg Khavroshkin came to the following conclusion: “Spectral analysis of noise near the“pyramid of the Sun”and“pyramid of the moon”indicates the existence of hidden cavities. Seismic survey of all structures revealed their features, in part similar to the Egyptian pyramids, including focusing the signal along the base-top path."
What secrets are hidden by the pyramid of the Sun?
This suggests that there may be numerous underground labyrinths deep beneath the pyramid bases. It turns out that representatives of ancient civilizations considered it safer for themselves to live underground. What could have prevented these people with advanced technologies for their time to come to the surface? While this remains a mystery. Osmanagich, the discoverer of the Bosnian valley of the pyramids, believes that most likely these were harmful effects on the human body, to which he attributes radiation and a cold climate.
Perhaps the most ancient civilizations arose on Earth even before the onset of the ice age. Moreover, it was not a single, "global" civilization, there were several of them, and all of them were at different levels of development. It is possible that they had to fight among themselves. Was it not a nuclear winter that forced people to descend into tunnels and grottoes, whose powerful vaults reliably protected from dangers? It seems that underground fortifications were being built everywhere, as now they are building bomb shelters.
The mystery of construction
Until now, the very technique of building the pyramids is surprising. After all, the weight of the blocks from which they are composed sometimes reaches 40 tons … Most of all scientists are puzzled by the fact that, according to traditional ideas, in the era when the Bosnian pyramids were being built, civilizations of such a level of development could not yet exist. In addition, the ice age, according to experts, could not have been a powerful stimulus for development. True, ice has long been used to move goods, but this does not bother traditionalists, as well as the fact that the average annual temperature in Bosnia was then only 6 degrees lower than it is now.
If we assume that the ancient Bosnians feared radiation and hid from the consequences of the "war of the gods" repeatedly mentioned in various epics, then perhaps one should not be surprised. People with such problems should have had the appropriate technology. But even with only primitive knowledge, such colossus can be moved, if not on ice, then along embankments of small stones, such as pebbles. A similar experiment with blocks of Egyptian pyramids was staged by the famous Norwegian traveler and explorer of ancient civilizations Thor Heyerdahl. The experience was crowned with success.

Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids? just the tip of the iceberg. Some researchers believe that each pyramid points to the next, not yet open. Enthusiasts tried to test this version on a virtual model, and it turned out that the line leading to the east points to Siberia, and further? to China …
All these facts open up scope for new historical versions. True, not everyone believes in the existence of these analogues, or even predecessors of ancient Egyptian structures. There are those who are ready to recognize the status quo of the Bosnian finds only after they have been restored and their man-made origins become apparent. Well, wait and see.
