From time to time, in different parts of the world, spherical objects of unknown origin are found. Some consider them to be the legacy of ancient civilizations, while others associate the strange findings with the visits of representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence to our planet. And not without reason.
Several dozen perfectly round stone balls were discovered in the late 1940s. in Palmar (Republic of Costa Rica, Central America). Their diameter ranged from 10 cm in the smallest to 3 m and above. When aerial photography was carried out, it turned out that these stone formations are located not in a random, but in a geometric order. Therefore, there is no need to talk about their natural origin. Analysis showed that they are only about 500 years old.
Researchers debate the purpose of the Costa Rican balls. According to experts, they could both represent decorative or religious monuments of Indian culture, and serve as tools for some work. Incredible hypotheses were also put forward - they say, this is nothing more than … Indian money! Or - devices for some kind of game.
Of course, ufologists have found their own explanation. The latter argue that the balls from Costa Rica most likely symbolize the map of the starry sky. Some of them are raised on pedestals - possibly large stars or habitable planets. But astronomically, the "map" does not coincide with our star system. Hence, a hypothesis arose about newcomers who visited these places and left the earthlings in inheritance a stone model of their world …
Round, regular boulders are found in other places. They were found in the sands of Kazakhstan, within the known anomalous zone near Zhirnovsk (Volgograd region).
M. P. Koretsky from Vladivostok picked up a mysterious souvenir in the famous Yakut Valley of Death on the banks of the Vilyui River. The stone hemisphere about 6 cm in diameter was black and very smooth, as if polished. Later it turned out that the pebble cuts glass perfectly … After the arrest in 1937 of Koretsky's grandfather, the find disappeared without a trace.
But the lead balls in the area of the village of Dalnegorsk (Primorsky Territory) were definitely not accidental. On January 29, 1985, there was an alleged UFO explosion. Local residents watched a large luminous ball flying in the sky, leaving a trail behind it. He hit the ground, and a fire broke out at the site of the collision. An expedition was sent there, which discovered a small area covered in ash with blackened fragments of wood and rocks. In addition, melted metal balls about 1 cm in diameter, particles of black vitreous matter and strange mesh-shaped scales were scattered on Earth.
The samples were transferred for research to a scientific laboratory. Scientists have come to the conclusion that the lead, of which the balls are composed, is of terrestrial origin. At the same time, it turned out that the mesh-scales consist of fibers, into which … the finest golden threads are woven! They turned to V. Vysotsky, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, for advice, who said that the "scales" undoubtedly represent an example of high technology, hitherto unknown on Earth!
