Livingston, Scotland. November 9, 1979
That morning, forester Bob Taylor parked his pickup truck in the woods and took his dog to inspect some trees in a clearing near the new highway. He reached the clearing at 10.30 am and saw a gray ball hanging over the ground with several dark portholes arranged along a ring-shaped rim.
Taylor noticed that as soon as he tried to see the details, the object seemed to blur, preventing it from focusing.
Then two balls the size of a ball rolled quickly from the ship towards Taylor, making a sound like a sucking as they moved. These things, according to Taylor, looked like sea mines, they had six "legs". In a few moments, the mines were already near Taylor. The forester felt an acrid unpleasant smell, from which he immediately fainted.
After about 20 minutes, Taylor woke up to hear his dog barking. He was lying on the wet ground, his chin was burning and his left thigh was itching. The object, along with the "mines", disappeared. Taylor was feeling tired, nauseous, and his throat was burning. He barely got to his pickup, tried to call for help on the radio, but nothing came of it.
Then he tried to get out in the car, but his coordination was lost, and he quickly got stuck in the mud. Finally he made his way to his house, exhausted, with his trousers torn, where his wife met him.
The police interpreted the incident as an attack and launched an investigation. They found ruts at the indicated place, dents from a heavy object and holes left by the spiked balls that attacked Taylor.
One skeptical comrade suggested that Taylor encountered fireball. But the forester's friends knew him as an honest man and could not think of a rational explanation for this case.

State of Minnesota. October 23, 1965
At about 7.40 pm, Jerry Townsend, the radio host, was six kilometers from Long Prairie. He entered the twilight zone. Suddenly, the engine stopped, the headlights and radio turned off. Ahead, he saw an object like a rocket landing in the middle of the road on three supports. The rocket was 10-12 meters high and about 3 meters wide.
Townsend got out of the car and noticed three small robots, shaped like beer cans, heading towards him from a rocket. The robots were only 12 centimeters high and rolled from side to side on two supports.
When they stopped, a third support extended, which seemed to serve them to maintain balance. Although these robots had no faces, Townsend assumed they were watching him.
It seemed like an eternity had passed. Finally, the miniature robots returned to their ship. The rocket soared into the air, according to Townsend, as if someone had sharply raised the lantern from the table. Townsend then went to the sheriff's office and told about the incident.
The sheriff saw that the witness was seriously alarmed, he was not drunk and had a good reputation. The study revealed on the road three parallel jets of a certain oily liquid a meter long, spaced 10 centimeters from each other. The police had never seen such a thing in the area before and had difficulty identifying them.
There were two hunters who gave evidence that overlapped with Townsend's. They said they saw a bright object rising into the air at the same location at the same time.
State of Kentucky. January 27, 1977
Heading home in a jeep, 19-year-old Lee Parrish saw at 1.05 am a rectangular, brightly colored UFO hovering over the treetops. The ship was 3 meters high and 12-13 meters wide. It seemed to the young man that he was no longer in control of his car, the radio went silent.
Parrish remembered only that for some time he was directly under the UFO, and then saw how it was removed. Instead of arriving home in 7 minutes, he did not appear there until 35. His eyes hurt, his mother noted that they were bloodshot.
The reason for these pains was discovered under hypnosis: it is because he looked at the UFO for a long time. When Parrish was under the UFO, the car soared into the air, and he himself, without even opening the doors, moved into a large circular room.
There were three robotic figures in the room. The tallest was 6 meters tall, he was black and resembled a tombstone, he had a small "head". His "skin" was rough in places and smooth in places. One arm without a hand, bent at the joint, was attached to his body.
The smallest creature was less than 2 meters tall, red and rectangular like a coke oven. He also had one arm, although it was straight. Parrish felt that the creature was frightened, although it slowly approached him, touched his head and shoulders, causing a chilling pain. He later called it a medical examination.
The third robot was white, about 2 meters tall, heavier than the others. He had a triangular head and two arms that he did not use. This white, shiny creature made a single sound - such as if someone was brushing their teeth. Parrish thought it was their commander.
Then the three beings began to unite, or enter one into the other. First, the smallest merged with the middle, then the middle did the same. The black creature began to back away, and Parrish felt heat. Suddenly, the black creature disappeared and Parrish was back in the jeep. He was left with the feeling that one day the aliens would come into contact with him again. The researchers made sure that the witness was sincere.
Meetings with such a "rectangular team" have taken place before, in particular in the early September morning of 1968 in Brazil.
France. September 10, 1954
At about 10.30 pm, witness Marius DeVield, a metallurgist by trade, left his home in a small town on the Belgian border and saw a dark mass lying on the railway tracks. When Develd heard footsteps, he turned on the light and saw two tall creatures, less than 3 meters tall, wearing very large helmets and heavy suits, kind of for diving. He did not notice his hands. The artist depicted one of the creatures as looking like the Star Wars character R2D2.
As Devil moved towards these creatures, a green beam fired from the ship, paralyzing him. The ship, standing on the rails, looked like a pancake and was 3 meters high and about 6 meters long. By the time Devilde found freedom of movement, the ship was already taking off.
Four days later, three experts from the French air force spoke with DeVield and investigated the UFO landing site. They did not find any traces of the aliens, including footprints, which was not surprising given that the ground in that place was solid. But they found marks on wooden sleepers where, according to an eyewitness, a heavy ship was landing.
There were five marks in total, all fresh and with sharp edges. After consulting with engineers, they found that the sleepers were designed for loads of up to 30 tons. These traces, according to the researchers, were left by the landing gear.
Something really strange happened that night. Where the object landed, the gravel was unusually brittle, as if it had been exposed to high temperatures. There were other eyewitnesses who claimed that they saw a red light in the sky at about the same time. This case is one of the most famous in French ufology in 1954.
State of Connecticut. December 16, 1957
Former teacher Mary Starr was awakened sometime between two and three in the morning by a bright light. When she looked out the window, she saw a ship in the form of a cigar, 8-10 meters long, hanging over the rope on which she was drying clothes, no more than 3 meters from the house.
Through the windows, Starr could see the two occupants of the ship walking inside with their right arms raised in opposite directions. Judging by the size of the ship, these creatures should be somewhere around 3.5 meters tall. They had a square or rectangular reddish-orange head with a bright red ball inside.
Starr assumed they were helmets. The aliens were wearing robes that were flared at the bottom. On her raised right hand, she did not notice the hand. If the creatures had legs, Starr couldn't see them because of the hanging clothes.
Then a third creature appeared, the windows faded, and the object itself became brighter. An antenna appeared from above, swaying, sparkling, and then retracted back. After several maneuvers, the ship, with small lights along the edge, deviated upward and soared into the sky at great speed.
Rio de Janeiro. Brazil. September 15, 1977
Antonio la Rubio, a 33-year-old bus driver, noticed a hat-shaped object with a diameter of more than 30 meters above a football field at 2.20 am on his way to work. He was scared and was about to run away, but was paralyzed by blue light. At that moment, three robots appeared in front of him.
They were about 3.1 meters tall, on their round, like a soccer ball, an antenna more than 30 centimeters long sticking out. At the tip of the antenna was some kind of teaspoon-like device that was spinning rapidly. A hoop with mirrors, blue and dark, was worn across their heads.
Their squat bodies were covered with something like scaly skin or clothing that looked like dull aluminum. Their hands were like elephant trunks, tapering towards the ends. On the "belt" was a belt with devices resembling syringes. The creatures stood on one "leg", rather, it resembled a pedestal, ending with a small round platform.
Three aliens flew around him, one of them pointed a syringe at La Rubia, after which he found himself in the hallway inside the ship. La Rubia saw through the transparent walls that they took off.
In a huge hallway containing a piano-like apparatus and two dozen robots, la Rubia was examined. He was also shown some "slides". One was wearing himself, dressed and undressed. There were also slides with a horse and a cart on a muddy road, a busy street with buses, a dog trying to attack one of the robots.
To la Rubia's horror, the dog suddenly turned blue and disappeared. Another slide showed a "UFO factory" with a million robots inside. While watching, one of the robots took a fingerprint test from La Rubia.
Suddenly la Rubia felt as if he had been thrown overboard, as he suddenly found himself on the street opposite the Pasiencia bus station. One of the robots stood next to him. La Rubia looked around, and when he turned back, the robot was gone. La Rubia looked up into the sky and saw a huge lead ball receding. It was 2.55 am.
For the next month, La Rubia suffered from nausea, diarrhea, fever, everything was burning and itching, so that he could not work.
USA. July 1951
Pilot Fred Rigen has stated that during the flight, his plane was shot down by a flickering diamond-shaped UFO. Fred did not have a parachute, but when he and his crashed plane began to fall, he felt that some grasping force was pulling him up into the UFO.
Inside the ship, Rigen was surrounded by small, shiny creatures. They were about a meter tall, and Rigen compared them to "huge stalks of metal asparagus." The creatures addressed him in English and apologized. Then they subjected him to a medical examination, found that he had cancer, and, in atonement, removed him.
The creatures then dropped Rigen, unconscious but without a single bruise, in a field near where his plane crashed. It should be noted that, having flown several thousand meters, the motor hit the ground by 2 meters.
Less than a year later, in May 1952, Rigen died in a Georgia State Mental Hospital. The cause of death was reported to be "the destruction of brain tissue due to intense radiation."
Fred Riegen's striking story was kept in the archives of the editor of the English magazine Flying Saucers Review and has not been published for over a decade. If in the 50s this story seemed incredible, then by the end of the 60s it was perceived more calmly, since many incidents with such UFOs were already known.
