Once I ran into a friend's house for an hour. She has been living in Moscow for a long time, she came to our city on her business - to visit her abandoned apartment, pick up her things, and see her friends.
A friend from the doorway, almost crying, began to complain that she could not find a gold earring. Just here you were, where did you go? After all, I dug everything everywhere, one earring lies, and the second does not, as it fell through the ground. I see that I came at the wrong time, not up to my friend, the mood disappeared along with the earring.
I tell her:
- Go out the door, knock and say: "Damn, damn, play, and then give it to me."
She answered:
- Are you kidding me?
And then I told her a story that happened to me in the south.
This was in 2006. I took a ticket to the Salut sanatorium, which was located in Evpatoria. The sea is nearby, the weather is excellent, the food is good. My daughters rested nearby - in the pioneer camp named after Nadezhda Krupskaya. And they feel good - mom is at their side, and it is great for me - to see my daughters, especially since the second daughter was still little, seven years old.

Once I think: after lunch I'll run to the sea, my daughters will come there with a detachment. I got ready, but I can't find the keys to the room. I rummaged everything, just lay here - and fell through the ground.
I searched for almost two hours, but I can't find it. Was upset. I went to the attendant to ask for extra keys to the room, because the girls by the sea are waiting. I go up, ask for other keys, I confess that I have lost these somewhere. And she says to me:
- Knock on the door from the outside and, entering, say: "Damn, damn, play, and then give me back."
I look at her: is she joking? I need the keys, but she doesn't know what she's advising. But she did as she said. I went to my room and knocked on the door.
And imagine, when you entered, the hand itself reached out to where it had checked a thousand times. I see - the keys are as if nothing had happened. I said thank you to the attendant and ran to the dining room, and then to the sea to my daughters.
Back to the beginning of my story. My friend, after I left, calmed down a little, but still not believing me, nevertheless did as I advised her. And in the evening she called me, happy that she had found an earring: I was lying as if nothing had happened in the place where my friend had looked several times.
So this way works. Believe it or not, or even better - try it on yourself when you can't find something, although you know for sure that this thing lay here.
