A 20-year-old pilot, named Frederic Valentich, was flying time to obtain a pilot's license. He took off in his single-engine Cessna 182 from Kingfield airfield (Australia), but unfortunately did not return. Melbourne ATC received a series of messages from the pilot, after which his plane mysteriously disappeared from all radars.

Valentich reported that he saw four bright red lights at an altitude of about 700 meters above the ground, after which the connection was abruptly cut off:

"Several objects are approaching me from the east … I cannot say for sure, but their speed … These objects do not look like ordinary planes … This is …"

After these phrases, there was a silence, which was broken by one dispatcher trying to get back to contact with Valentich. The dispatcher asked to identify unidentified objects. Again they heard "These are not planes, but …" and the connection was interrupted forever.

The Australian Air Force organized a large-scale search. Unfortunately, no trace of the missing pilot was found.

Guido Valentich, the pilot's father believed that his son was healthy and in perfect order, but he was being held captive by some creatures from another world. Interestingly, according to the elder Valentich, Frederick had been interested in UFOs for many years and even, about a year ago, reported seeing them hanging in the sky.

According to Australian military officials, about 10 calls to the police about UFO sightings were recorded on the same weekend after the disappearance of the pilot.

The story doesn't end there. It takes on an even stranger twist. In 1990, 12 years after those events, a certain young man appeared, claiming that he was the very same Frederic Valentich. He was spotted in the Plaza del Charca, one of the Australian resorts.

He showed his passport and said that he was in a group of people who were "recruited" by aliens. It is also worth noting that the alleged Valentich was very much like the disappeared pilot and has hardly changed over the past 12 years.

Quite strange, huh? I'm also very curious about what Valentich was doing there at that resort. The aliens gave him a few days off?
