The archaeological site of El Fuerte de Samaipata is located in the mountains of Bolivia. He is unremarkable. There are no megalithic masonry, large-scale stone structures, etc. But there is a mountain where traces of intelligent activity are present in the stone mass on its surface. Erich von Daniken described this place in his book and argued that it refers to Gods and paleocontact.
We will not dive into the topic of ufology, but look at this mountain from a different point of view on its formation than is the explanation of official geology. Let's see its types in the photos:
The mountain is a stone exit, on which there is no soil, which may indicate a not so old age of this exit.
When you look at this photo, you get the impression that it is frozen lava with traces of some kind of human activity (or someone else). But the rock is not volcanic.
It can be seen that the breed was chosen, cut out of it for some purpose, leaving terraces like steps.
Promotional video:
A selection of rocks, tracks, furrows were plotted on the plan.
Yes, this photo shows that the rock sample formed terraces. But there are no obvious sawing marks.
On the side, in the slope of the mountain, they chose a rock and made some niches, portals.
There is a concentric trail at the top of the mountain.
From the top of the mountain there are two “furrows”, long depressions in the stone. Erich von Daniken called it the catapult, the starting point for the Gods. Did the gods use the system for launching aircraft from an air carrier cruiser?
What is my opinion about this place, object? I believe that this rock mass is an outlet of cold fluidolites, geo-concrete, mineral tuff, call it what you want. Used for construction. They chose the breed and molded it from it like from plasticine. Those. Saksayufman, Cuzco and other places are not the only ones. There were many sources of plastic breed and this attracted people (or Gods) here.
In Sacsayhuaman, in Peru, a similar mountain, the unhardened rock of which was raked and molded by megalithic masonry
In terms of geological origin, these mountains are similar to Mount Uluru in Australia:
A granite massif rises on a flat plain.
And water flows down from the top of the mountain. These granite masses are formed by outcrops of water and mud masses. Now these are only residual phenomena of water release.
But back to Bolivia, remembering the example from Australia. Perhaps people were attracted here by the fact that continued to come out of the mountain along with plastic stone masses, namely, grains of precious metals: gold, silver. It is known that European conquerors exported gold from South American Indians by ships. And about the technology of extraction, about the mines - absolutely nothing is known.
You see a reservoir at the top of the mountain - this is a possible residual release of water masses. Furrows were made for flushing and settling outlets. They washed gold, as they did in the days of the gold rush.
Furrows were also used, "ornament" on the sides and in the middle of the main furrows. To confirm this, you need to take samples of the rock from this mountain.
