It was on the subject of such "modern superstitions" that a survey was recently conducted in Great Britain, which revealed that almost half of gadget users believe in all this, and the rest, as the organizers of this experiment suspected, also believe, but are strenuously hiding their "little weakness".

By the way, as true clergy claim, in this world literally everything has a mind, another thing is how this mind is commensurate with ours? From here we draw, most often, false conclusions and divisions: this is an intelligent being, and this is not. Well, and we do not take into account "inanimate" objects at all, although this is a deep delusion.
But how do these "inanimate" objects show their mind and their capabilities in this world? For example, stones can move in space, enter our sleep with their consciousness, tell us something, and so on. Household items, for example, shoes, clothes, depending on how we treat them, can serve us faithfully and for a very long time, practically without wearing out, or, conversely, fly apart, tear and lose their appearance in the shortest time. A hanger, for example, is capable of even hitting a negligent owner, breaking off or falling for no reason, and a frying pan can burn the hands of a negligent hostess. And there are thousands of such examples - people simply do not know how to pay attention to them, believing that there are some accidents in this world. And they simply do not exist …

Now imagine what possibilities of "communication" with a person have computers and mobile devices? Yes, they can practically even talk to us, for example, by writing "Here-here, Neo" to the non-working monitor screen for a minute, erase the music they do not like, not to mention the manifestation of their character, mood and much more, which every user knows today such devices.
Therefore, there is nothing strange and supernatural in this. Today people are intensively improving artificial intelligence, terribly afraid of it, but at the same time not even thinking that literally EVERYTHING has consciousness in this world! Moreover, there is a certain hierarchy in the world, for example, the consciousness of our planet cannot be compared with the consciousness of even the most advanced spiritual person. Only our limitations can assume that the Earth will allow some machines to triumph on it, as shown in the films "The Terminator" or "The Matrix", not to mention the Supreme Intelligence …
Therefore, are computer scientists and owners of all kinds of gadgets so superstitious, realizing that their devices behave like intelligent beings? Rather, on the contrary, thanks to modern mobile phones and AI, we may finally learn to perceive the Universe correctly, as a single intelligent Being, each cell of which also has its own mind. It's just very difficult to understand with the example of shoes or clothes. Taking a car as an example, say, your beloved Merc with its peculiar character, it is already simpler, but using a computer as an example, not to mention AI, it is simply elementary.
