Scientists have confirmed the forecast that 2016 will be the hottest year in history. This was announced by experts from the UK, who told what the weather will be like in the next 5 years.

Scientists from the UK Meteorological Service have cited the annual increase in greenhouse gases as the cause of this change in climatic conditions. This will lead to an increase in the average temperature regime throughout the planet, as previously warned by American scientists conducting research in Alaska.

British experts also reported a shift in the warm waters of El Niño. As a result, already in 2016, with 100% probability, the temperature will begin to break records. Scientists recalled that their calculations are based on the amount of greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere, but specialists do not have the appropriate technological equipment to measure the exact temperature of the ocean waters.

According to researchers, warming will cover the entire next 30 years, but the 2016 record is unlikely to be broken. There are no exact forecasts for 2018, 2019 and 2020 yet, according to representatives of the UK Meteorological Service.
