Residents of the village of Shunki, Belogorsk district, Khmelnytsky region (Ukraine), hammer rabbit cages with boards at night.
In the evening they walk down the street with sticks and axes. An unknown creature strangles rabbits, cats, scares horses.
“It was about one in the morning,” recalls 74-year-old Olga Khodakovskaya. - The gate was closed, then it easily jumped over it. My dog is very angry, and then he didn't even bark.
In the morning, Olga Khodakovskaya saw damaged rabbit cages in the yard, seven animals disappeared. She found six strangled people nearby, one was missing. The frightened dog dug a hole under the logs stacked in the yard and hid there until lunchtime.
- The doors vomited with meat. A healthy man won't do that. All the rabbits were choked up. There are footprints on the sand near the cages. The size of a man's palm. I took a stick to measure the depth from the claws. Each one is 5 centimeters long. Only a bear can have such claws. I gave 300 hryvnia for rabbits, - says Olga Petrovna.
The next night I set a trap near the cages.
- Self-made, strong, a wolf can catch, - says her nephew, 25-year-old Alexander Lipinsky. - Instead of a chupacabra, he interrupted the paw of the aunt's cat Marquis.

An unknown creature came to the courtyard of Valery Petlitsky, 55 years old, three times.
- Every time I did losses, - she says. - The rabbit cages left holes several centimeters deep. The second time, the metal mesh in the rabbit cage was torn and crumpled like a spider's web. The power is terrible. Now only the dogs bark - I take a flashlight and go around the yard. I furnish the cages with boards, slate, and put a piece of iron on top. But the chupacabra is very big. She tears the shiferins into splinters, throws a 20-kilogram metal blank. Yesterday I scared the horses and started laughing. I go into the stable, and they are scared, spinning with their ears. In the morning I couldn't pull the dog out of the booth with a chain. All people here are afraid. I go to the toilet at night with an ax.
An unknown animal visited 10 farms. Strangles only adult rabbits and cats.
- Nobody knows what it is. I cut the net on the cage with scissors, crushed all the rabbits, - says Anatoly Krymchuk. - But the other day she strangled my Siamese cat and the neighbor's Ginger. We did not believe in the Chupacabra, and now we not only believe, but we are also afraid.
