In search of Shambhala

At the end of 2004 and the beginning of 2005, several articles were published in our domestic newspapers Orakul and Komsomolskaya Pravda, claiming that two Russian expeditions were able to find … Shambhala!

Surely, there is no person in the world who is not familiar with the eastern legends about the abode of the wise Mahatmas lost in the distant Himalayas - the mysterious Shambhala. They came to our planet from the higher worlds in order to support, instruct and protect the people of the Earth from the evil they do because of their ignorance by the power of their powerful enlightened spirit and energy.

It is in Shambala, in cave caches, that relics and scientific and technical achievements of all civilizations that came before us are kept, as well as, imagine, installations, structures and machines of the future!.. In addition, the greatest works of art of the past are kept intact there, the present and those that will be created in the future!..

Now in more detail about each of these 2 expeditions …

Expedition to Shambhala (2004)

The first Russian expedition, under the direction of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Doctor of Philosophy, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Professor Yuri Alekseevich Zakharov, took place in September 2004 in Western Tibet. The expedition set itself the following three goals: first, to investigate the valley of the Sutlej and Garuda rivers, where, according to tantric sources, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Shang Shung or the “Silver Palace of Garuda” should be located; the second is to visit the territory of the Guge kingdom bordering on Shambhala, which until recently (after the annexation of Tibet by China in the 1930s) was closed for visits; thirdly, to make the inner Kora, that is, to make the so-called detour around the sacred mountain Kailash.

The Orakul newspaper published a detailed interview of Irina Ryabinina with Professor Yuri Zakharov, in which he spoke about the main results obtained by his Tibetan expedition. That's what, in particular, was said in this interview …

Shambhala is an ancient country

According to Yu. Zakharov, Shambhala is something supernatural and mystical. This is so and not so … Shambhala is an ancient country with its own real history. It was called Shang - Shung and included Western Tibet around Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Its capital was the city of Kyunglung Nulkar - "The Silver Palace of Garuda". The country was ruled by a dynasty of kings, and its inhabitants spoke the Tibetan - Burmese language.

Until the 7th century, the Shang Shung country was an independent state. In the 8th century, after the assassination of the last ruler, Shang Shung was annexed to Tibet. In this ancient kingdom, the teachings of the ancient wisdom of Bon were born. According to an ancient legend, it came from the mystical country of Olmo Lungring, which in Sanskrit means Shambhala, which existed since the birth of the human race on Earth and was the geographical, physical and spiritual center of our world. In other words, in the Tibetan tradition there is an indication of both the real existence of the Shang-Shung country and the sacred land of Olmo Lungring. And these countries mentioned correspond to the cherished Shambhala.

The capital of Shambhala Kyunglung Nulkar was the most important spiritual and religious center, from where the esoteric yogic schools of Tibetan tantra spread throughout Tibet, especially the pre-Buddhist religion Bon - Po and Dzogchen. The spiritual and religious influence of Kyunglung Nulkar lost only at the moment of the seizure of Tibet by Chinese troops, where in fact access was closed until recently.

In the ancient monastery, which is located in the valley of the Sutlej River, there is a map of Shambhala, on which in the center of the country there is an image of Mount Kailash. The map in this monastery is kept, as you can see, not by chance, since it is from here that the secret path to the "geographical" Shambhala begins, to which one could get through the inner Kora.

Over the past several years, all Zakharov's requests to visit areas of Western Tibet that interested him have been refused. And suddenly, in 2004, his expedition was admitted to the area bordering on the "geographical" Shambhala. And they, members of Zakharov's expedition, decided to take a chance, namely: there, on the spot, try to enter the valley of the Sutlendzh River, where the kingdom of Shang-Shung was once located. But on the eve of the trip, the members of the expedition, to their great surprise, were allowed to visit the restricted area, only they had to look for a guide themselves.

So, Zakharov's expedition set off at random along the Sutledge River. Soon they came across an old path leading into a narrow ravine and marked with prayer flags lung - ta. Hot mineral springs appeared on both banks, then ancient stupas and, finally, a hinged bridge across the Sutlej, also hung with lung - ta.

Finally, the excursionists saw how silver rocks blazing in the sun appeared against the background of red-brown rocks!

This, in the opinion of the members of the expedition, was the "Silver Palace of Garuda"! The effect of "shining silver" was achieved due to the fact that a large amount of mica was included in the rocks. This ancient city shook the imagination. Gray-red rocks rose to dizzying heights. From the foot to the top, the ruins of ancient buildings were visible.

Sightseers visited some of the rooms. There was an opinion that fires were bred in them yesterday. The ceilings were covered with soot, in some places the remains of grain, wool and domestic animals were preserved. Apparently, it seemed that when our expedition appeared here, someone urgently left this place …

According to ancient sources, the center of the country of Shambhala is Mount Tisse, or Kailash. Relatively speaking, this mountain has two "access levels" - external and innermost - internal - Kora. To get to the inner Kora, you must complete the 13 outer ones. Considering that this is a high-altitude area, it is quite difficult to do this. As it turned out, even none of the local residents was in Inner Kore - to such an extent this place is sacred for every Tibetan.

The members of the expedition began koru in the Bon tradition - not clockwise, but counterclockwise. As a result, it was possible to find a valley unmarked on any of the maps, where the yogi community resides. At the southeastern most gentle slope of Kailash, the expedition set up camp for the morning ascent. They did not reach the top 400 meters - then an almost sheer wall rose, which they could not overcome.

But the members of the expedition managed to establish that Kailash is not a man-made pyramid, as some of the researchers believed, but a mountain formed as a result of volcanic activity. But it is not just a pile of stones, but a very important energy center, where amazing phenomena take place. In particular, there the members of the expedition observed natural crucibles, that is, luminous points that symbolize energy, and small swastikas flickering in the darkness …

In general, an end has been put on the secret of the geographic location of the country of Shambhala. Mount Kailash is the center of inner Shambhala, and its capital was trapped and called, as mentioned above, Kyunglung. An answer has also been found to the question of the location of Belovodye. The closer you get to Kailash, to Western Tibet, the more rivers meet with white, literally milky water. It was they who gave the name to the mystical country …

Results of the first expedition to Western Tibet

Finally, to complete the conversation about the first expedition to Western Tibet, we present its generalized results, which Yuri Zakharov himself, the editor-in-chief of the Znat magazine, speaks of:

“… During the current expedition, it was established:

1. The exact location of the capital of the ancient state Shang - Shung (Shambhala) in the valley of the Sutlej River. A large photo and video material was received.

2. For the first time surveyed the "inner" and "secret" central part of the country Olmo Lungring, right at the foot of Mount Kailash. For the first time, photo and video footage was shot about the secret valley of yogis.

3. For the first time, a successful ascent was made along the southeastern slope of Kailash to an altitude of 6300 m; further advancement was impossible without special equipment and unfavorable weather conditions.

Thus, it was confirmed and established that the country of Shambhala is not only an esoteric concept, but also a geographical one …"

Second expedition to Shambhala

Several issues of the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda" in March 2005 published an article by Andrei Moiseenko "The Secret of Shambhala Revealed?" It tells that an expedition has returned from Tibet, led by a full member of the Russian Geographical Society (RGO), Alexander Selvachev. This, as we assume, is the second Russian expedition in Western Tibet in search of Shambhala - the abode of the gods and the repository of secret knowledge. The WATT RGO expedition included climbers, geologist, archaeologist, translator and operator. In Tibet, the members of the expedition had a chance to split into several groups to inspect all the "suspicious" areas …

Expedition description

Let's start our story about the results of this expedition with an interview with its leader Alexander Selvachev:

“… We started our search for Shambhala from the mysterious Mount Kailash. About 1.5 billion people - Buddhists, Hindus, Jains and followers of the pagan Bon religion in Tibet itself - consider it a sacred place on the planet. Supposedly here it is possible to achieve enlightenment and even go to nirvana. The height of the mountain is 6714 m. (According to other sources, the height of the mountain above sea level is exactly 6666 m.) At the top of Kailash, the god Shiva himself meditates.

Those who wish to achieve enlightenment should go around the mountain. It's called making Cora. The bark removes sins. The whole road is 56 km. And the pass at an altitude of 5700 m. From the members of the expedition Andrei Chernyshev went to make Kora …

… At the top of Kailash, none of the mortals was. "Why?" - I asked the local population. They answered me: "It is impossible." "And if I do climb?" They shrug their shoulders: "You won't live long" …

No one is forbidden to climb the neighboring mountain - Gurla - Mandhata, which is a kilometer higher; it is 100 km away, and Kailash is clearly visible from it. It is believed that the male essence of Shiva dwells in Kailash, and the female essence in Gurla - Mandhata.

In order to see what is happening on the top of the sacred mountain Kailash, the members of the expedition tried to climb Gurla-Mandhata. The base camp was set up at an altitude of 5300 m. On the very first evening, the members of the expedition saw a ray of light near the camp, but they could not establish what it was. Another time, similar lights were noticed already on Gurla itself in the glacier zone. The rays emanated from an almost vertical wall, where they could later reach during the day, but they did not find anything interesting there. By the way, it was not possible to explain them by the reflection of the moon or stars, since the sky was covered with clouds. Because the lights shone for a very long time, they managed to photograph them with the maximum (15-minute) exposure of the camera. The expedition participants could not reach the top of Gurla-Mandhata, which was prevented by the storm that had begun.

But, as they say, closer to the point … In search of the mystical Shambhala, the expedition of Alexander Selvachev decided to penetrate into Western Tibet, which is considered a real "blank spot" on our planet. Earlier it was said that Western Tibet is closed to foreigners. There are Chinese missiles pointing towards India. But there, according to information, the legendary Shambhala was once located. Only one road leads there - the turbulent Sutlej River, which the members of the expedition had to pass on 2 catamarans.

Let's turn again to the story - the memoirs of Aleksandr Selvachev:

“… The sutledge narrowed to such an extent that the catamarans barely squeezed through. And the arches of the mountains hang so low that it seemed as if you were floating through a tunnel. On the third day, having passed through one such almost kilometer-long tunnel, we saw a small valley ahead. And they were stunned: the rocks surrounding it gaped with many caves - windows.

This city! Unknown cave city. I did not come across any references to him in the literature. An entire complex of several square kilometers has been dug or hollowed out in the sandstone - you can get lost. The complex is multi-storey. But here … the upper and lower tiers were connected by vertical manholes. And there was a sense of logic in the location of the caves. It can be seen that the arrangement was taken seriously."

Unlike the famous Tibetan cave cities, there were long horizontal passages, the height of which was about half a meter, but their purpose was not clear. It is possible that several thousand people could live here. Having glanced around these cave cities, they found many fragments of pottery, wooden vessels, bronze ornaments with a swastika and many other objects of unknown purpose.

Downstream of the river, 2 more similar settlements were found, and both were also located in the valleys located after the canyons - tunnels. Alas, the term of Chinese visas was already coming to an end, and after some adventures, the members of the expedition returned to their homeland.

And finally, the last thing that A. Selvachev said about the results of the expedition:

Results of the second expedition

“… In Tibet, we encountered incomprehensible things. "Wandering lights", mirages, strange behavior of people and animals … Everything can be explained from the point of view of science, if you want. But I already understand that Shambhala is not a mystical country, but a real ancient state. There is no mysticism in the fact that it is supposedly located underground - just people lived in huge cave cities …"

What conclusions can be drawn from the results of the second Russian expedition in search of the country of Shambhala:

So, it is very likely that two Russian research expeditions discovered this legendary country of Shambhala, which is located under the earth's surface …
