In UFO history, the UFO crash incident in the Berwyn Mountains in North Wales is often referred to as "British Roswell".

On the evening of January 23, 1974, the inhabitants of the Welsh villages of Llandderfell and Llandrillo felt a small earthquake, and then heard a loud explosion.

At first they thought that the plane had crashed into the mountains, but the woman who came running first to the scene saw only a few incomprehensible red-orange lights in the dark.

Then the territory was quickly cordoned off by the police and then it was reported that they had found nothing. However, rumors quickly spread that the authorities were hiding something and that in fact an alien ship had fallen here.

For more than 40 years, this story has haunted British and world ufologists. You can read more about the incident here.

Officially, it is believed that there was a real earthquake, but over 40 years, many eyewitnesses have been found who reported seeing a UFO flying in the sky before the explosion was heard.

The researcher of anomalous phenomena Nick Redfern said the other day that he has another eyewitness story and it is very unusual.

The woman's name is Anne Owen, shortly before the incident, her family bought two old cottages in Conwy County near the village of Trefree, in the same north Wales. While they were rebuilding the houses, the whole family with children lived in the trailer.

On the evening of January 23, 1974, the family horse became very agitated and was tied to the trailer, but a little later it became even more restless, as if something had scared it. The animal twitched so hard that it rocked the trailer.

Further, Anne Owen said that a group of researchers from Cardiff University came to them and they photographed a torn tree, and then showed her an unusual picture where a white cylinder-shaped UFO was filmed next to the same tree.

However, Ann was confused, she did not see such an object and does not know by whom and when this picture was taken. Now it is not known what this picture is.

Ann was also able to spot perhaps the most unusual detail of the visit of the Cardiff researchers. It seemed to her that they were perfectly aware of what actually happened here. They were respectable men of 40-50 years old, not students, but apparently professors.

The last detail of Anne's story concerned a very thick fog, the most common at first glance, but it was observed the day before the incident and the day after the incident. And before and after the locals have never seen anything like it. The fog came out of nowhere and was incredibly thick.
