In Kozyatyn and Zheleznodorozhny (Vinnytsia region), starting from March 2012, amazing and mysterious events have taken place - unknown creatures are destroying rabbits.
In Zheleznodorozhny alone, 10 households suffered in one week. Some of the locals even managed to see mysterious creatures in their own backyard. Eyewitnesses say there were several of them. Who or what it is - here people are at a loss to guess.
The uninvited guests visited Zheleznodorozhnoye in early March. In the middle of the night they tore cages and tore rabbits.
On the morning of March 3, Maria Bubnovskaya went out into the courtyard of her courtyard and saw dead rabbits next to the cages.
- I looked, there are 5 rabbits there are 4, there are 2, - the hostess recalls. - There was still snow, and there were traces of blood on it. One rabbit had intestines outside. And when I started collecting all the torn animals in bags, I saw that some had a point of blood behind their ears. Maybe a creature sucked her out of there? I called the veterinary hospital, asked if it was possible to eat this meat, they told me - in no case. People from our village saw big scary animals near the cemetery, they probably live there.
On March 22, torn rabbits were found in the village of Kozyatino. The owner Gennady Slobodyanik counted 14 small and 4 large dead rabbits. Domestic dogs did not bark that night.
“The pregnant females and those who fed the rabbits died, and from the little ones, who were 1-2 months old, only heads and bodies remained,” says the owner. - What kind of animal it was, I do not know. When I ripped off the skin of dead rabbits, I saw deep punctures in the body. There was no blood on the wool or in the yard. One had completely broken bones and a spine.

Law enforcement officers interviewed a forester who works in a forest belt near the damaged houses, he said that such harm could have been caused by an animal - a fox or a ferret. The police officers did not record the theft, therefore they cannot help people, as well as initiate a criminal case. Catching and shooting an animal is beyond the power of the hunters of the Kozyatinsky district UOOR. Although they believe that it is the chupacabra that everyone is talking about doing harm to people.
“For two years, people have been telling me that they saw an animal similar to an Australian kangaroo in our area,” says Vladimir Zaichik, chairman of the regional society of hunters and fishermen. - This animal stands on its hind legs, has good hearing, sense of smell, and also long claws - their marks remain on stripped cages and doors. According to eyewitnesses, it has a long tail and a narrowed, like a rat, muzzle, the stomach is pulled in. The creature is gray. He sees well at night and day. Where the Chupacabra came from is unknown. Maybe it appeared as a result of a mutation after the Chernobyl accident, maybe some biologist made unsuccessful attempts to cross one animal with another - these are only versions and assumptions.
Previously, rabbits were plucked in the villages of Sadovoye and Vovchintsy, now in Zheleznodorozhny and Kozyatyn. Hunters from other areas said that this is a very cunning animal, it disappears instantly when it notices that it is being hunted. Dogs are afraid of him, do not bark, immediately hide.
