Nearly three dozen workers at a garment factory in Cambodia fainted after the hysteria of one of the workers, who was allegedly possessed by a ghost.
“Rumors spread among the female workers that one of them was possessed by a ghost and was screaming like a chicken,” said Boon Wan, head of the New East Factory union. "They were so scared that they began to faint one by one."
According to Wang, the victims were sent for treatment to the nearest private clinic. Although the head of the union doubts the credibility of this story, he expressed concern that such incidents are repeated too often.
In one case, even Khmer sorcerers were invited to help the workers of the factory, and the owners of the factory had already bought live chickens several times, necessary for sacrifices to spirits.
The factory, which produces jackets, trousers, dresses, skirts and polo shirts, employs over a thousand workers. Kim Lee, 35, said several women fainted this morning and others in the afternoon.
“I smelled the smell and suddenly fainted, I still don't know why,” Li said.
It can be seen that the management of the factory is trying in every possible way to get rid of the supernatural situation, which, for sure, would have been solved by simply improving working conditions.
