Tatiana from Murmansk has never encountered ghosts, brownies and other evil spirits. She simply did not believe in their existence. While resting in the village, the girl safely spent the night in a half-abandoned house, was never afraid of the dark.
But recently a funny and at the same time terrible story happened to her. Tatiana moved to live with her fiance. It was then that the passion-muzzles began. When the girl was left at home alone, she heard strange clicks and incomprehensible sounds (as if someone was knocking on the refrigerator).
Then she remembered that once at a friends' birthday party, her beloved admitted that he was afraid to stay at home alone: they say, he lives in a brownie's apartment. But the next morning he refused his words, said that he was joking. And the sounds mean the neighbors are misbehaving or the sewers are noisy.
Interestingly, when the couple was at home or someone came to visit, there was no extraneous noise in the apartment. As soon as the girl was left alone, strange sounds were heard again. This went on for about a week. Once Tatyana woke up at night and went to the kitchen to drink water. She noticed something glowing on a shelf in the hallway. Immediately there was a shrill screech "and-and-I", and again eerie clicks began in all rooms at once. The girl rushed into the room and hid under the covers. She did not know what to do. It was useless to call the police and rescuers - they would not believe, they would say, she was crazy.
Tatiana shared her observations with the groom. He joked again, saying that the girl had too much imagination. And the relatives, to whom Tanya complained, decided that the brownie was most likely in charge of the apartment. And they advised to appease the "neighbor". Having obeyed her relatives, Tanya bought milk, vodka, sausages and barberries. I put this splendor in the kitchen and fell asleep. The night passed calmly, but the next morning the girl saw that her hands were covered with dirty marks, as if they were being touched by small fingers smeared with soot. Arriving in the kitchen, Tatiana was going to throw away the "gifts" left for the night. And then she found that the rough barberry had become smooth to the touch and stuck to the plate, as happens with wet candies.
Friends advised Tatiana to consecrate the apartment and ordered to light incense at home. Tatiana decided to use incense. It was quiet in the apartment at midnight, only when she woke up at three o'clock, she heard someone rushing over her head, then she heard a disgruntled snort and the clatter of small heels.
A few days later, her apartment was consecrated. However, the next evening, Tanya again heard clicking behind the refrigerator.
- Come on, stop being ugly, - the girl barked at the alleged neighbor, and the sounds died down.

Now Tanya's apartment is calm, she is no longer tormented by fear. There were only unresolved questions, what was it all the same: a mouse, a brownie, or an excessively rich imagination?

- Hiding in the girl's subconscious, information about the brownie showed itself as soon as a suitable situation arose in the apartment: loneliness, noise and unidentified sounds. Thus, "accidental anchoring" occurred. This is the name of the process of calling states with the help of an external stimulus. The thought of the brownie firmly settled in her mind. In the future, Tanya no longer tried to give a logical explanation for the incomprehensible things happening in the apartment. And from the fear that the situation would repeat itself when she was at home alone, the girl again and again found herself in situations of communication with the brownie. And the measures of influence have become the steps of therapy, getting rid of the existing feeling of anxiety. But since it is often easier to believe in the existence of evil spirits than in the miraculous power of the consecration of dwellings and church rituals, everything remained unchanged. Only when the situation reached a neurotic state and caused a strong fit of anger in the heroine, she spoke out loud "the words of exile" and drove Nafani's thoughts and images from her life.
