The concept of black holes will change after NASA recorded a huge unknown object leaving the black hole. According to the theory, a black hole sucks everything into itself, including light, because its gravity is so powerful that nothing can escape from it.
Two space telescopes from the Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) space agency observed this particular black hole when a huge object suddenly "ejected itself" from the black hole's "crown". Immediately after this event, a strong pulse of X-ray energy separated from the "corona". This confused NASA experts, Themindunleashed reports.
NuStar Principal Investigator Fiona Harrison noted that this phenomenon is changing the whole concept of black holes. Thanks to the level of technology, the data that will be obtained from the observation will help to understand the structure of black holes and their functioning.
As stated by Dan Wilkins of St Mary's University, this is the first time that a connection has been traced from the corona to the outbreak. According to him, this will help to understand what effect supermassive black holes have on bright objects in some galaxies.
