Petr Ershov finished writing the book when he was 18 years old. The originality of this work is that the fairy tale, which has not lost its popularity to this day, has become the last outstanding chapter in the writer's work.

All this leads to some reflections, and fans of mystical stories do find hidden meanings in "The Little Humpbacked Horse". In their opinion, the author left certain knowledge to his offspring.

This popular work, already published in several languages, is under a veil of secrecy. To begin with, literary reviewers already have questions for the author of this masterpiece. There is an opinion that Pushkin, a contemporary of Ershov, having read the tale, gave it the maximum assessment and allegedly made additional edits himself.

There was a version that the great poet himself could have written the book. The following facts are cited as evidence: the work about "The Humpbacked" is made up of syllables reminiscent of Pushkin's writing style; for some reason, Ershov destroyed a copy of the book where the edits were made by Pushkin; neither before nor after the aforementioned tale, the author could not write a work of such popularity.

But it should be added that there is no direct confirmation of this fact. The book was officially written by Ershov.

The author himself said that the story of the wanderings of Ivan and the Little Humpbacked Horse is not a fiction, but a retelling of old folk fables that he overheard among the inhabitants of Siberia. However, studying the situations that arise in the plot, and the descriptions of the heroes, supporters of everything otherworldly establish some analogies with biblical characters.

Based on this assumption, the wise Princess, whose father is in heaven, is the Mother of God. Well, the wedding of the girl and Ivan is not a marriage in its direct meaning, but a symbol of the care of the Mother of God for Russia. Another sign is called the Whale-Fish. Since in the work the author calls him Sovereign, this forms a parallel with our state, Russia, or, in principle, with civilization.

Supporters of encrypted messages saw the message in the fact that the main character needs to get a ring. Allegedly, this is the key to classified Christian information, and Ruff, who acted as Ivan's assistant in the extraction of a chest with an ornament, was supposedly none other than Peter Ershov himself.

The Okunevsky Ark itself, by the way, was nicknamed the anomalous zone by the locals. Representatives of some religions worship him, and fans of the unknown consider him mystical. And it is with this area that three fabulous cauldrons are associated, which are the main subjects of the denouement in the work.

The mysterious transformation of Ivan into an unprecedented handsome man, allegedly testifies to the miraculous properties of water in boilers - this is a kind of hint about three healing lakes in the Okunevsky Ark region, located at the junction of the Omsk and Novosibirsk regions. Most likely, we are talking about Linevo, Danilovo and Shaitan-Ozero.

There is a belief that dressing in these waters gives strength, relieves even the most complex ailments, and also "removes" several decades. Since ancient times, the inhabitants of the aforementioned mysterious region had the idea that a healing effect can be obtained only when swimming in three local lakes at once, in turn, and observing a certain sequence. Interestingly, this is how Ivan bathed in cauldrons from the work. It is believed that these lakes were formed due to the fall of a meteor.
