A Yamal hunter found and filmed footprints similar to human ones, but much larger in size with a mobile phone camera

He found his find 10-12 kilometers from Salekhard in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. With information about a rare find, the hunter turned to regional television. According to the hunter, each footprint found is about three times longer than a human foot, and the stride length is significantly longer than a human.
“ The foot prints of the creature, which had already managed to freeze, since at present in Yamal - minus 5-15 degrees, did not look like the footprints of animals living in the Yamal tundra,” Interfax quotes the hunter as saying.
Radio Mayak journalist Vyacheslav Moshkin describes his impressions of the tracks he saw:
- Our surprise knew no bounds. It was near the city - 12 kilometers from Salekhard. You can even see the city lights from there. The traces that we found were under the crust, under the ice crust, and the possibility of imitation is excluded. We thawed them out with gas burners, measured them with rulers, examined them. There are quite a few of them. They exceed 40 centimeters in length. Quite wide, they do not look like the footprint of any animal. Even the bear trail is much smaller. If we assume that these footprints were left by a person, even the tallest, it turns out that there is a mismatch, since there are a lot of them and the paths are long.
