A resident of the village of Suromna (a suburb of Vladimir) Nina Surovova Monday morning brought an unpleasant surprise, from which she is still in shock. Going, as usual, into the chicken coop, turn on the lights for the birds, she found that almost all of them were dead. Six chickens were lying on the floor, two more - alive, together with the rooster, stood motionless, as if in a stupor.

“I began to look at them to understand what happened, but I didn’t find any damage on the bodies of the dead chickens,” Nina Pavlovna laments, “those that survived have some bites on their backs, their feathers are torn out … I don’t know if they will survive ? What kind of animal could attack them at night, I can't imagine, because the chicken coop was closed! If a fox or a dog had sneaked into the barn, it would probably have demolished the valve, but it was not touched … and you simply cannot get into the chicken coop in other ways!

Nina Pavlovna's neighbor Natalya Pertseva believes that the chupacabra could attack the chickens.

“My dog behaved very strange that night,” says Natalya, “she didn’t sleep, and it was evident that she was worried. This is how she behaved once, when thieves climbed into our neighboring garden. Then we went outside, because it was in the summer, and now it's cold already, so I didn't get up. Yes, and no noise was heard … It is strange that the chickens did not cluck when they were attacked.

Already on the street in front of the entrance to the chicken coop, the women showed the reporter the traces of the alleged killer of chickens. There were quite a few of them near the hen house itself and in the garden. The tracks are large and clear, such could have been left by a dog or a fox. In addition to footprints, chicken feathers were scattered throughout the garden. But, as both women believe, the fox would have dragged away its victims, and the dog would hardly have been able to get into the chicken coop without dropping the latch on which the barn is closed at night.

Already leaving the women frightened by the Chupacabra, the correspondent literally four houses away, from the place where the bloody massacre took place at night, found a severed chicken head. She lay in the mud, already trampled by people or run over by cars. A couple of meters from her on the grass lay an eaten chicken breast with the remains of wings.

- The tracks left on the ground are very similar to those of a cat and the wounds on the body of chickens are clearly from the claws, - says Ivan Chizhikov, an experienced hunter, - Now the time is very suitable for teaching lynxes to hunt. In the spring they were just born, by the fall they have grown up and can already hunt themselves. It seems that they just played with the chickens, and drove the rooster for fun. An adult lynx, of course, would hardly have climbed into a chicken coop, but kittens could easily have crawled through a small window.

By the way, on October 1 at 10 hours 25 minutes on Severnaya Street not far from the Tochmash plant, an incomprehensible creature was noticed, according to descriptions similar to none other than Bigfoot! According to 72-year-old eyewitness Yevgeny Karasev, the creature appeared several times very unexpectedly and quickly disappeared behind the trees. The pensioner's neighbor, 55-year-old Svetlana Kuropatkina, has also noticed something wrong lately. At night, a woman hears strange sounds coming from the front garden near her entrance, reminiscent of a very unusual howl of a dog.

- Over the past three years, our region has been visited quite often by the Chupacabra, a vampire predator that feeds on animal blood. Previously, these animals lived quietly in the forest, but forest fires drove them away from their usual habitat closer to the city. And once having tasted livestock, the chupacabra can no longer stop, because it is much easier to catch such prey. Most likely, this predator came to us from the Nizhny Novgorod region, where it manifests itself very actively. There are even warning road signs "Beware, Chupacabra."
