A group of archaeologists from the Glenn Dash Foundation, engaged in measuring the Cheops pyramid, issued a statement that some media misinterpreted information about the slope of the structure.

Recently, many publications with reference to the archaeologist Dasha said that the Cheops pyramid is not as perfect as previously thought. A group of scientists led by archaeologist Glenn Dash has been searching for unknown details and mysteries of the construction of the Cheops pyramid for several years. The specialists were faced with the task of making high-precision measurements, taking into account the fact that at the time of the pharaoh, the pyramid was trimmed with limestone facing tiles. Over time, the cladding was dismantled by local residents. The architects managed to restore the original image of the pyramid by examining the pieces of limestone that remained in some places, as well as tracing how the platform on which the pyramid was installed was installed. Thanks to this, they were able to find out the position of the edges of the structure on the surface of the earth and thus make accurate measurements.

The journalists said that the western side turned out to be 8-14 centimeters longer than the eastern wall, which is why it is beveled to one side and because of this a perfect square is not obtained at the base. The archaeologist stated that he did not claim this. The fact is that the pyramid is so damaged that scientists had to take measurements not in absolute values, but in certain intervals. Dash notes that his words should be read this way: with a probability of 95 percent, the western wall is approximately 7.6 centimeters longer than the eastern one, but this does not mean that it must necessarily be sloped. The researcher advised to write to journalists that "the pyramid is almost perfect."

As for the shape of the base, then, according to Dasha, it is a parallelepiped, which is slightly skewed in relation to the axes.

In general, the archaeologist noted the high accuracy in the construction of the pyramid, it is practically not inferior to modern technologies. Those errors that scientists discovered during the study add up to a certain pattern, confirming which Dash and his team will be able to get closer to unraveling how this wonder of the world was built. Today it is known that the Egyptians used logs, copper, ropes and stones during construction work.
