Is the Sirius system home to the "gods"?

A small tribe of Dogons living on the territory of Western Sudan (modern Republic of Mali), in some amazing, incomprehensible way, preserved through the millennia the knowledge of others, donated by the "gods". But, perhaps, there is nothing surprising in this - everything is natural and quite logical …

How can you transfer your knowledge to others? The first that comes to mind: take the children and start teaching them everything from the very beginning. And if this is impossible, there are no children of their own, and strangers have a different, alien scheme of perception of the world?.. How to teach them when you do not understand what and how they think and remember? But there is a way: try to portray in pictures or create three-dimensional images. In the hope that one of the students will remember. Can be combined with natural habits - to move to the rhythm of the dance. Transferring the content of the myth with movements, drawing of the dance, transferring it into songs. This is what happened with the Dogon tribe. They remembered. They remembered correctly, as the giver of knowledge explained to them. The Dogons created a tradition of passing on knowledge through the millennia.

Not even having their own written language, the Dogons in their cosmogonic myths divide the heavenly bodies into planets, stars and satellites. The stars are called tolo, the planets are called tolo gonose (stars that move), and satellites are called tolo tonase (stars that make circles).

The accuracy and clarity of these ideas is amazing, especially when you consider that we are talking about a people leading a primitive lifestyle. Among the Dogons, only olubaru priests are allowed to study ancient myths, members of a secret “society of masks” who know a special language “sigi so” (“Sirius's language”) … In ordinary communication, the Dogons speak “dogo so” - the language of the Dogon.

The Dogon consider Sirius to be a triple star, consisting of: the main star "sigi tolo" and "the stars" po tolo "and" emme yatolo ". The period of their revolution around the main star is amazingly accurately indicated - 50 Earth years (modern data: 49.9 years). Moreover, their ancient myths contain information that the star "Po tolo" is small in size with enormous weight and density.

"It is the smallest and heaviest of all the stars and consists of a metal called" sagolu ", which is brighter than iron and so heavy that all earthly creatures united could not lift even a particle …" Elsewhere the myth specifies: " a sagolu particle "the size of a grain of millet weighs as much as 480 donkey packs" (ie about 35 tons).

Using the methods of modern science, it was established that Sirius is indeed a double star, and its second component is the white dwarf Sirius B, the density of which can reach 50 tons per cubic centimeter. According to Dogon myths, when the star "po tolo" (Sirius B), which according to the priests has an elongated orbit, approaches the star "sig tolo" (Sirius A), it begins to shine brighter.

This is confirmed by scientific data: the brilliance of Sirius does fluctuate, and with a frequency of 50 years, i.e. with the period of revolution of Sirius B around Sirius A.

Moreover, when comparing these oscillations with changes in the distance between these stars, the Dogon was completely correct - the closer to the main star its companion, the brighter it is!

The question naturally arises: where does this knowledge come from?..

Sirius - the star of the captivating "gods"

As we found out in the previous part, the so-called "myths" of the Dogon store very clear and correct cosmogonic information. The priests of the Dogons, the keepers of the sacred "language of Sirius" ("sigi so"), explain their astronomical awareness by the fact that their ancestors in time immemorial were moved to this planet from "Po Tolo", i.e. from Sirius V.

This sounds somewhat fantastic, but here it should be taken into account: science has established that this African tribe did not always live in this territory. De facto, the Dogon are immigrants from … Ancient Egypt! And the Egyptians also have widespread beliefs in "gods" who, in their opinion, "created people" - participated in their evolution. In addition, the "demigods" are a genetic mixture of people and "gods" … The reason for the resettlement of the Dogon is also known: the sect of Egyptian priests sought to preserve ancient knowledge as much as possible, so it left Egypt and "retired" to African territory. The "Egyptian trace" can be traced in the Dogon genes.

Ancient Egypt also had its own system of teaching and transfer of knowledge, but it was lost over time. The hope for writing (hieroglyphs) did not justify itself, since even the priests (not to mention the descendants) eventually forgot how to interpret them correctly.

The value of the Dogon myths lies in the fact that an integral system has been preserved and the methods of memorizing this incomprehensible knowledge have been preserved. Only the "initiates" among them can learn "sigi so" (the language of Sirius). The Dogon cannot explain these myths in their modern language.

But the rituals of the Dogon say a lot. The annual festival "Des Masks", where all the main rituals of Dogon mythology are played, serves to remember those rituals that should be held on the main holiday - "Shigu". Only olubaru priests can perform a special ritual dance - "Kanaga". It is dedicated to the ancestors of the Dogon - intelligent birds of Balako and is performed on high stilts. Of course, this does not mean that the "gods" were precisely "intelligent birds." But the ceremony preserved their ability to fly high in the sky …

Masks are crowned with special figures. The main ones are the two-meter stylized figures of the aforementioned bird-people "Bala-ko", from the planet Yutolo - with wings and paws outstretched in the form of a kind of swastika.

Once every 50 years, the mystical festival of the dead is celebrated, called "Shigu" and lasts for 7 years. This tradition is almost 1500 years old.

And on the planet Ara-Togo, from the Sirius system, according to the Dogon, "Nom-mo" lived. They were half-humans, half-snakes, with red eyes and a forked tongue. They also visited Earth. Perhaps the "serpent people", "nagas" are just their few heritage?..

But there is also another way of looking at Nom-mo. Perhaps they conceal knowledge about the last surviving dinosaurs?.. Indeed, despite the secluded lifestyle and the desire to preserve the "knowledge of the gods", time and the oral and ceremonial transmission of traditions still transformed the information contained in them.

(The hypothesis was also considered that "Nom-mo" are directly aliens, their appearance, and "Bala-ko" are their flying ships … There is too little data to give preference to any particular version)

Albeit in a somewhat distorted form, but the Dogons achieved their goal: they managed to preserve and convey to us the knowledge of the "gods" where they came from and what they did here (a lot hints at the catastrophe that occurred on Sirius - the star changed its color since 41 millennium BC and before the beginning of a new era) … Another thing is that we have not yet managed to properly understand and understand their great heritage.
