No matter how you remember the story of the Tower of Babel, before the construction of which all people spoke the same language, but having angered the gods, they lost this ability forever. An international group of linguistic scientists, which included representatives from the United States, Germany, Argentina, Switzerland and the Netherlands, conducted an extensive research and came to a sensational conclusion - all people speak the same language!

In their study, scientists, using programs specially created to study this problem, analyzed 100 basic words in 3700 different languages, which amounted to 62% of all languages existing in our world. Research has shown that all languages in the world have hidden roots in common. For basic words, people, regardless of their origin and place of residence, choose the same sounds.

This property is universal for all mankind, which means that the connection between the sound of a word and its meaning is not at all accidental, as previously thought. People use the same sounds to pronounce their basic words.

Why this is happening and what is the reason - scientists do not yet know and put forward their assumptions that this property helps children learn the main words at the beginning of life - these sounds help children to master the language. Maybe this is how the features of the human mind and the ways people interact with each other are manifested.

So maybe the legend of the "Tower of Babel", which became the reason that people stopped speaking the same language, is not such a legend. Maybe some higher forces really made changes in the consciousness (brain) of people, which led to the loss of the ability to communicate in one language, but in people there were indications of the once existing single language of communication and scientists discovered it.
