Residents of the village of Baturinsky, Emanzhelinsky district (Chelyabinsk region) found a rabbit carcass torn apart by an unknown animal in their garden. He left hoofprints everywhere
“I went to feed the rabbits, I saw, I was stunned, our rabbit was not in the cage. I ran, told my mother and brothers, we started looking for her, and then, when we saw, we got scared,”says Slava Sokolov.
The Sokolov family found the headless carcass of a rabbit behind a greenhouse. As the household recalls, the night before, Mason the dog barked towards the rabbitry. In the morning, the hostess found that the dog had broken the chain.

“The rabbit's head seemed to have been bitten, there was no blood or dirt on the carcass, I don’t know what animal could have done this, traces should have remained,” says Elena Sokolova.
This incident also frightened the Sokolovs' neighbors. In the village, many live in a courtyard
“Maybe some animal got started, we gave up chickens in due time, when the ferrets got started, but on the other hand, why did the ferrets have to open the cage, tear off their head, and leave the carcass?” - the neighbor Anatoly Bardin wonders.
After the death of the rabbit, the Sokolov family has to feed her little rabbits themselves
