Broadway Tower is located in Worcestershire (England), in the city of Broadway or Broadway. They say that if you climb to the very top of this building in clear, cloudless weather, you can contemplate all 13 counties at a glance. And no wonder. The tower itself is not so great, its height is only 17 meters. But it is located very high above sea level. Its position relative to sea level is as much as 312 meters. Therefore, the statement may be true. Unfortunately, English weather is changeable and it is very important to find the right moment to know for sure.
The Broadway Tower is the work of architect James Wyeth. Work on it was completed at the very end of the 18th century, in 1797. Wyatt was a fairly well-known master of his time, because he came from a dynasty of architects, and his name was already well known. Among his works are such famous buildings as Beaver Castle and Fonthill Abbey. He worked in two main directions: gothic and classical. Broadway Tower became a Gothic building. This is one of the finest buildings designed by Wyeth.
Over the years, the tower has been used for a variety of purposes. And nevertheless, she was somehow associated with famous surnames. For example, there was a print shop for Thomas Phillips, a collector, antiquarian and expert in his craft. Then William Morris, the artist, rested and recovered here. And Arthur Evans, known for his works on archeology, devoted his time to work here.

The tower is still in use today, but it is rather used as an exhibit for tourists. It is worth your attention because it has a long history and is a monument of architectural creativity.
