In October 2003, nuclear physicist Sergei Pooinitsky suddenly disappeared in the city of Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In a closed laboratory, the scientist worked on the problem of disposing of irradiated nuclear fuel. Law enforcement agencies worked out two versions - the escape of the scientist to the United States and the murder.
