Almost all over the world there are scattered buildings of huge boulders and slabs called megaliths. They were found in Southeast Asia, India, Iran, Syria, Palestine, North Africa, Spain, France, Denmark, Crimea, the Caucasus …
The blocks from which the megaliths were built weigh tens, hundreds, or even thousands of tons. Moreover, if the blocks form buildings, then they are so carefully fitted to each other that it is impossible to push even the blade of a pocket knife between them.

By their structure, megaliths are divided into several groups. So, if structures have walls and a roof, that is, they resemble a stone box, they are called dolmens. If the megaliths are presented in the form of circular gigantic fences, their researchers call them cromlechs. And single vertical pillars are defined as menhirs.
Of all the known megalithic monuments, the most famous are the rows of stones near the French town of Carnac, located on the southern coast of Brittany. There are 2935 of them here. They are stretched out in 13 rows, four kilometers long. On some megaliths, one can find not decrypted hitherto engraved inscriptions.
Until now, scientists cannot decide on the purpose of these structures. Some researchers, for example, believe that these stone buildings were places of worship and burial of the dead. However, oddly enough, no burials have been found in the absolute majority of megalithic structures.

According to another point of view, some of the megaliths were used for astronomical observations of the Moon and the Sun. For example, it has been proven that vertically installed stones made it possible to fix the points of rising and setting of the Sun and Moon on the days of the solstices and equinoxes.
True, it is not entirely clear why the people of the Stone Age needed such complex and laborious observations. At least for agricultural work, farmers do not need an exact astronomical date: they are more interested in the condition of the soil and weather, that is, factors that are little tied to certain astronomical dates.
A number of scientists have put forward a hypothesis that megaliths are a kind of stone books of the ancients, in which important scientific data about the Earth, the solar system and the Universe are encrypted, left by representatives of the higher intelligent forces of space for subsequent generations of earthlings.
Topographic surveys of megalithic circles and alleys revealed even more interesting facts. It turned out that most of these structures are flattened circles and ovoid ovals. Thus, the stone rows in Le Meneque (France), stretching for a kilometer from west to east, are gradually approaching each other according to a complex mathematical law described by a parabolic function!
A kink is observed in the middle of these 12 rows, and all rows change direction using a complex geometric construction.
At the same time, the height of the stones in separate rows also naturally changes: at the western ends, the stones are the largest, up to four meters high, and to the east, their height first gradually decreases to 40-60 centimeters, and then increases again to several meters. In general, these rows represent a lattice lying on the ground with a complex surface geometry formed by vertically standing elements of variable size.
In addition, it is noted that most of the megaliths are built of rocks, contain a significant amount of quartz - a mineral that is capable of generating electric current when compressed, as well as maintaining constant vibrations. If an electric current is applied to quartz crystals, they generate ultrasound.
And a very startling discovery was made by British scientists, who established that at a certain time of the day the Rollright megalith produces strong ultrasonic radiation. It appears before sunrise, and then gradually fades away. During the equinox, this radiation is most intense and lasting, and vice versa, during the solstices, it is minimal.

Against this background, the individual stones included in the structure have different sounding cycles and are limited in space. At the same time, the radiation energy of each individual stone is small, but all stones together create a powerful energy flow.
All these data made it possible to put forward a new hypothesis, according to which dolmens were a source of acoustic and electronic vibrations and, depending on the setting and design features, could have a variety of applications: as an ultrasonic weapon, for medical and medical purposes, used in predicting earthquakes …
