As everyone knows from the school biology course, the hair color of humans and all other mammals is provided by pigments of the melanin group, which biochemists distinguish between two main types: eumelanin, whose granules are purple-red, and pheomelanin, whose granules are red-yellow.

As a result of the presence of two types of pigments in the hair and a different reaction of these pigments to substances that destroy melanin, brown-haired women and brunettes sometimes turn red with unsuccessful dyeing, which upsets them greatly.

However, for tigers, orange coat color is the norm; pheomelanin is the most abundant in their fur. And as a consequence, many people, obviously, wondered: why is the tiger living in the green jungle. always orange? Wouldn't it be logical that its color was some kind of green, like that of predatory reptiles, or the color of the savannah, like that of a lion?

Dr. John Fennell, who published the study in a special scientific journal of the Royal Society, also asked this question. And, as he found out as a result of research, deer, which are the main prey of tigers, can only see blue and green light, which makes them color-blind to red.

To make the experiment as convincing as possible, Dr. Fennell invited people for the experiment who were deprived of their natural trichromatic (tricolor) vision with special glasses and turned it into two-color (dichromatic) vision, like deer. After that, the participants of the experiment were shown a red sphere on a different background, which, when the background was green, people hardly saw.

Thus, Dr. Fennell very simply answered the question that has tormented biologists for centuries: why is the tiger orange? It is orange, according to Dr. Fennell, because the evolutionary production of a green pigment would require huge changes in the biochemistry of mammals, so Nature simplified its task and used what it was: with the right shade of orange, the tiger in the jungle is not visible.

However, no sooner had Dr. Fennell congratulated himself on his victory than the readers of his magazine had other questions. So, the first question arose about the cause of two-color vision in deer. If you believe the theory of evolution, then the sight of deer should be like all three colors. In this case, the deer would see the predator from afar and run away. However, this is not observed - the evolution of deer has stopped.

So the two-color vision of deer not only baffles the poor doctor, who wanted to do the best, but it turned out as always, but also destroys the very theory of evolution - the structure of the eye of deer completely contradicts it. Rather, someone twisted the eyes of the deer, so that the tigers had something to eat and not run around for dinner for a very long time. And the deer question is just the first awkward question.

People who call themselves Homo sapiens proudly call themselves the kings of nature and are confident that they are sitting at the top of the food chain. If some reptilians like crocodiles sometimes eat people, then this happens completely by accident.

However, suppose there is another predator above people that eats people. Will people see it? Most likely not, because deer do not see tigers either - this is how “evolution” works. But how then will the predator disguise itself? Under the forest, under the buildings, under the cars? Or wait for the victim under the guise of a stone?

A simple enumeration of options shows that the best option for a predator would be to disguise itself as the people themselves, whose crowd he will use as a jungle. And there are examples of such mimicry in nature.

So, orchid praying mantises (Latin Hymenopus coronatus) are very similar to orchid flowers. Other insects sit on such an "orchid" - and hello.

Of course, all of the above about invisible reptilian predators eating people is an exclusively conspiracy theory, but the problem is that people simply do not have the necessary organ of vision that could confirm or refute this theory. Therefore, everything is perfectly acceptable.
