There are one in a million such children, the child has two independently functioning heads, but one body and one heart, and the parents are very happy to replenish the family.
Asa and Eli Hamley were born to 34-year-old parents Robin and Michelle. In the language of medicine, their deviation is called dicephalic parapagus, that is, the state of twins, when all organs, with the exception of the heads, are common.
This case is interesting because these children usually do not survive. In one case in a thousand, a woman can become pregnant with such a child, but only one two-headed child in a million ordinary children manages to survive.
Asa and Eli have three lungs, and, with the exception of minor heart disorders, their body is in perfect order.
For several years, Robin and Michelle underwent examinations in various clinics, and everywhere they were told that they could not have children. What was their joy when Robin found out that his wife Michelle managed to get pregnant. After the birth of the child, the family needs financial support, in order to help them, a special fund was established.
Now happy father Robin wears a T-shirt with the inscription "One heart for two souls", which he made during the birth of his wife. The amazing newborn twins were introduced to their older sister, Sele, shortly after birth. Family members admit that this moment was very exciting for them.
