Was a man healed by a deadly poison?
The case that recently took place in the American city of Modesto (Northern California) was told by the world's leading news agencies - CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS. They rarely lie or make up. But nevertheless it is hard to believe.
The story is as follows. Someone named David Blancarte was a motorcyclist many years ago. Got in an accident. Then he was paralyzed. He spent about 20 years in a wheelchair - his legs did not move at all.
And two years ago, David was bitten by a brown recluse spider (Loxosceles reclusa). This unpleasant creature, reaching a length of 2 centimeters, lives mainly in the southeastern United States. It became the hero of thriller films several times: the prolific hermit spiders killed the population of entire cities.
In fact, they rarely bite. Although, if they really bite, it won't seem like a little. You can die. Or get tissue necrosis. Which, apparently, happened to David. He was treated for the effects of the bite for two years.
When the wound (where it was not reported) was nearly healed, the nurse noticed muscle activity in the patient's legs. After five days, he was able to walk, holding on to the cart.
There were no comments from the doctors who treated David in the news agency reports. Therefore, skeptics do not rule out a simple coincidence. Like, yes, there was a bite, but not the fact that it was from him that the patient got to his feet. Perhaps it was not the poison that healed, but the cure.
Which, of course, is no less surprising. After all, a person was paralyzed for almost 20 years.
Recently, the story of David's miraculous healing was continued. He was put under house arrest. He beat up some of his close relatives. It is possible that his dream came true, which was difficult to realize in a paralyzed state.

The creators of the movie "Spider-Man" proposed a fantastic hypothesis of the influence of this creature on people. Like, his genes can somehow integrate and give supernatural abilities. However, I am reminded of a real story that happened in the early 80s of last year.
True, I do not know all the details of it. But the correspondent of the newspaper "Socialist Industry" said that she went to Tashkent, where one grandfather was tried. He treated people for cancer with spider venom. Of every three of his patients, two died of poison. And one was healed.
Grandfather, of course, was imprisoned - both for amateur medicine and for bad statistics. But the doctors never figured out why one of the "patients" was recovering. In other words, spiders can have unsolved mysteries.
