Video: Scientists Finally Discovered the Truth About Easter Island 2024, May

There are mysteries in the world that continue to torment researchers of all stripes for many tens, or even hundreds of years. And among such mysteries are the Egyptian pyramids and the Moai idols of the tiny Easter Island (Rapanui), lost in the vast Pacific Ocean, which is practically still isolated from the rest of the world. But, apparently, once this piece of land flourished, and there was a fairly highly developed society, which for a long time erected along the coastline of the island of strange keepers - huge idols carved from solid pieces of stone. The growth of these Moai, as the natives themselves called them, sometimes exceeded 10 meters.

Naturally, such stone statues weighed many tons, and moving them out of the "workshop" - a quarry located at times 25 kilometers from the coastline, is not a joke even for modern builders and modern technologies. And here - the ancient world, the most primitive tools of labor and means of moving heavy loads. How did the natives drag (or transport) these heavy boulders - the Moai idols, moreover, then set them up where needed, and even put heavy hats - "stone hats" on their heads?

What scientists did not “invent”, as soon as they “moved” these idols (theoretically, of course) since the discovery of the island in 1722. If the natives saw all this with their own eyes, as some independent researchers say, they would be very surprised at such complex manipulations and such primitive mechanisms (or rather, primitive thinking).

Theories of the creation and installation of Moai idols

Let's remember that Carl Lipo , a professor at Binghamton University, proposed a theory according to which idols moved by swinging, like we move furniture, say, a refrigerator, by tilting it in one direction or the other. It seems that everything is logical, and even that there was some evidence (special bevels, notches on the statues), but this theory did not suit everyone.

Then archaeologists decided to dig up the statues - and it turned out that most of them are not just heads, but full-fledged figures buried in the ground (another riddle). True, its scientists "figured out" very quickly, they say, the idols were covered over time with volcanic and sedimentary deposits. By the way, during the excavation of full-fledged figures (see the video), tireless seekers of antiquities even found fragments of some mechanism, which they immediately considered to be a device for moving multi-ton stone statues.

Further, it is even more interesting: in the lower layers of these excavations, pollen of an endemic tree (something like a modern palm tree, which was up to thirty meters high and up to two meters in diameter) was found. It was the trunks of these mighty trees, according to archaeologists, that the natives used in the form of rollers, moving idols. In addition, the pollen of the how-how plant was found, from which ropes were made in Polynesia (apparently on the island of Rapanui). Rollers and ropes - here is the mystery for you!

This assumption allowed scientists to draw such a sad conclusion that the cutting down of "palms" to move idols led to the fact that the number of forests on the island was rapidly declining, and this, ultimately, led to a disruption of the natural balance and an ecological disaster - a sharp change not only local flora but also fauna. Birds, land animals and even marine life are disappearing. People gradually began to leave the island, and this once paradise piece of land eventually fell into complete decay. And the reason for it, according to researchers, was precisely the stone idols, designed to guard and defend the island from enemies and all other misfortunes.

In turn, independent scientists, supporters of the gravitational theory (people in antiquity could control gravity, and therefore so easily built such grandiose structures and monuments as the pyramids and Moai), are surprised how today's discoveries of archaeologists easily and simply explain not only how the natives of Easter Island moved and installed multi-ton images, but also the cause of the death of the island paradise itself. Now it will be much more difficult to refute all this - it is practically impossible until modern society comes to an understanding: it is not only possible to control gravity, it is natural for a person. This fact has long been proven and more than once, for example, by Edward Leedskalnin, who alone built his amazing Coral Castle from multi-ton blocks.

And the Russian entomologist V. S. Grebennikov went even further, proving that insects fly only due to the anti-gravitational effect (wings are only an instrument for directing flight), and therefore gravity control for many living organisms of the Earth, including humans, is a matter the usual, like breathing, running and jumping. And if over time we have lost this ability for an unknown reason, this does not justify our desire to fit the whole world under this "weakness", and not only the present, but also the realities of the past and even the future …
