Romanian seer Ioan Istrate, who specializes in earthquake predictions, is rarely wrong. It would even be more accurate to say that he never makes mistakes at all. Every time a specialist says that there will be powerful tremors somewhere, this is what happens. Therefore, when the forecaster recently announced that an 8.3 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter in the seismically active zone of Vrancea at the junction of the Romanian and Ukrainian Carpathians was coming soon, even officials were seriously worried.

In recent days, a certain seismic activity has been observed in the area of the Carpathian Mountains, however, the magnitude of tremors has not yet exceeded 3 points. Nevertheless, Ioan Istrate claims that a devastating earthquake above 8 points on the Richter scale will happen here very soon. In the Romanian capital Bucharest, the intensity of tremors will reach 7 points. The "underground storm", according to the soothsayer, will also be felt in the west of Russia, in Moldova and Ukraine.

Ignoring John's predictions can be a huge mistake. So, in 1977, a powerful earthquake struck Bucharest, due to which 33 buildings collapsed, and the number of human victims exceeded one and a half thousand. Several months earlier, Istrate had warned the public about the impending catastrophe through the media, but no one believed him. Now, after 4 decades, the specialist is convinced that the disaster will repeat itself. We can only hope that now his words will be taken seriously.

By the way, it would be nice to get such a specialist-forecaster for every country, this is especially so important against the background of the ever-increasing seismic activity on Earth.
