"Gods" and "demigods" of the ancient world
From the Bible and other sources, we know how “demigods” began to appear on the ancient Earth: “At that time there were giants on earth, especially since the time when the sons of God began to enter the daughters of men, and they began to give birth to them.” Giants - contrary to popular belief, they are by no means "giants" with which they are usually associated. The Hebrew word for "giant" (or anakim) was actually a variant of the Sumerian term of the Anunnaki - that is, "gods who came from heaven" …
Let's leave aside the question of who the "gods" were. However, noteworthy is the fact that by no means always the "entrance to earthly daughters" was carried out by direct, natural physical contact. Numerous evidence points to artificial insemination - with the aim of procreation of the "god" (or "goddess") and the birth of a "demigod".
The inscription left by a king named Eannatum on the famous monument ("Stele of Kites") in the ancient city of Lagash (Sumer) explains his status as a "demigod" precisely by artificial insemination carried out by Ninurta ("Lord Girsu" of the sacred territory), as well as with the help of Inanna / Ishtar and Ninmah (in this case, she is called the epithet Ninhursag):

The expression "seed of Enlil" leaves open the question of whether the seed of Ninurta / Ningirsu himself was considered the "seed of Enlil", since he was the firstborn of Enlil, or whether the seed of Enlil was actually used for artificial insemination (which is doubtful). But it is quite obvious that the mother of Eannatum (her name is indistinguishable on the stele) underwent artificial insemination, so that the "demigod" was conceived without intercourse - an example of the immaculate conception in Sumer in the third millennium BC. e.!
The fact that the "gods" initially knew about artificial insemination is confirmed by the Egyptian texts, according to which, after the death of Osiris, Seth killed him and cut him into pieces, the god Thoth extracted a seed from the phallus of Osiris and impregnated Osiris' wife Isis with it, who then gave birth to the god Horus. … The figure illustrating this myth shows Thoth and the birth goddess holding two DNA strands, as well as Isis with the newborn Horus.
