After the pilots of two different airliners reported sightings of UFOs in the airspace over Arizona last week, new details of this unusual incident have emerged.

In particular, one of the pilots decided not to hide his name and introduced himself as Blenus Green, a former pilot of the B-1 strategic bomber who currently flies on American Airlines planes.

In an interview with the media, the pilot said that when asked by the air traffic controller about the UFO, he replied that "I am completely sure, I looked at the windshield and saw that the object was there."

“The UFO was very bright, but not to the point where it was impossible to look at it,” Green continued, describing what the object looked like. - I could not take my eyes off him and tried to figure out what it was. It didn't look like an airplane."

Despite the apparent inability to decipher the nature of the object, the pilot, who had two decades of flying experience behind him, noted one particularly interesting detail. Green noticed that the glow emanating from the object was "strange" in the sense that the UFO "shone from all directions" and not from the side where the sun was shining, and therefore it was difficult to determine its shape.

Meanwhile, the pilot of the second plane chose to remain anonymous for fear of an avalanche of media attention and other unwanted consequences.

According to Bob Tracy, a representative of the Phoenix Air Group, whose plane was in the sky at the time of the incident, the UFO was noticed by both the first and second pilots. They were very puzzled by what they saw and described it like this: "It was like waking up in the morning and seeing a very bright light."

Based on the perceived height of the UFO, its speed, and the direction in which it was moving, Tracy dismissed the version that it could be a balloon and said that he was as puzzled as his pilots.

While the incident is likely to remain a mystery, the heightened media interest, as well as the reliability of this type of eyewitness account, suggests that attitudes towards UFOs are changing. It remains to be hoped that in the future such phenomena will finally be taken seriously.
