Engineer Pita Witehira, examining his country house on Google maps, noticed an inexplicable footprint on the surface of the ocean. Peeta discovered a strange phenomenon off the east coast of New Zealand's North Island.
“The local Maori would call it 'taniwha' (which means 'troll') because, due to its size, this creature does not look like a whale or a shark. The boat also could not leave a trace, because in this case, white foam from the engine would be visible on the surface of the water. The animal must weigh decently, since it managed to leave behind such a train. It moves too fast and turns too hard,”explains Pita Uitehira.
Uitehira spotted the trail two weeks ago while surveying the area with Google Earth. He already owns a property near Oak Bay, but wanted to build another country house there.
When studying a map of the area, he enlarged the image and noticed the very trace on the surface of the water. Oak Bay is a shallow bay with steep and deep bluffs. In these deep parts of the bay, there are many growths in which mysterious animals can live.
